Barrington River House is framed by over 432 acres of stunning farmland in the Barrington River Valley, New South Wales. The property travels back from the Barrington River to reach the famous "Gloucester Bucketts"
Decorated and appointed throughout with all rooms featuring contemporary furniture - the house boasts (almost) every modern facility and appliance, including reverse cycle air-conditioning and slow combustion fire (firewood supplied!)
The kitchen is fully equipped with fan forced oven, large stainless steel fridge, microwave and cooktop. With a gas BBQ outside your cooking needs are well and truly covered.
Comprising 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms in total, the house itself enjoys 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms but has the added bonus of a separate self contained 1 bedroom suite with its own bathroom laundry/kitchenette - ideal for teenagers or in-laws!
Comfortably sleeps 8. Bedding comprises 3 queen beds and 2 single beds.
Relax around the pool in summer or around the slow combustion fire in winter.
With limited mobile phone access this is the place to get away !!! For those who must stay within reach - FREE WIFI , FREE Foxtel and local calls provided.

A comfortable 3 hour drive north of Sydney and under 1.5 hours drive from Newcastle, Barrington River House is the ideal location for those wanting to explore the World Heritage listed Barrington Tops and marvel at the natural beauty of the area.
Walk, picnic, canoe, cycle, kayak, paddle, swim or fish along the Barrington River.
Catch and release dam stocked with silver perch will keep the kids occupied for hours!
Lookout for the resident platypus at the riverbank or spot kangaroos, eagles, other birdlife, wallabies and rabbits. Bring some inner tubes and fly down the river!
Snooze by the pool, read a book or walk to the top of the hill or down to the river.

Barrington River House is located in the Barrington River Valley, 4 km from Barrington and 10 km from Gloucester - a thriving country town with all amenities.
The Barrington River Valley is overlooked by the World Heritage Listed Barrington Tops National Park which is part of the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia inscribed by UNESCO
Scenic drives, local cafes, great pubs, bushwalks, cattle sales on sale days, horseriding, canoeing, white water kayaking, large public swimming pool, downhill mountain biking, golf club (with bistro style food and chicken raffle on Friday nights!!) and tennis courts are all available within a 10 minute drive of Barrington River House.
