Description

The Shack is eco friendly with no chemicals used at this hippy hideaway amongst the trees. The Shack is located along the cliff, a popular street in Copa, with an easy walk to the beach, cafes & shops. Enjoy the stunning view down the coast from the cliff top, along with magnificent sunsets.

The open plan living area of kitchen/dining/lounge opens onto a "tree top deck" with BBQ and dining facilities. Comprising of two bedrooms and tiny sun attic The Shack sleeps 5.
Bed 1: 1 x Queen. Bed 2: 1 x double & 1 x single.

Located between Avoca Beach and Macmasters Beach with Bouddi National Park 5 minutes to the south; Copacabana is 15 minutes drive from Terrigal, 45 minutes from Hornsby (90 minute drive from Sydney CBD). "Copa" is reknown for having one of the best point breaks on the East Coast and it has a wide range of local amenities: coffee shops, restaurants, general store, liquor shop, newsagent, bakery, hairdresser and beautician. Copa is also only 15 minutes drive from the huge Erina Fair Shopping Plaza and only 5 minutes drive to Avoca Beach with more restaurants. For golfers its only 10 minutes drive to Kincumber driving range and also shops, supermarket, hotel, and access to Brisbane Water for water sports. Surrounded by national parks and inland waterways. There is plenty to do - swiming, surfing, tennis, kayaking, fishing, prawning, boating & bushwalking. Also at Copa you will find a whale watching platform and Captain Cook lookout gives a great view up and down the coast.

Avoca Beach with its cafes, restaurants and heritage cinema. Several golf courses within a 20 minute drive. The award winning Reptile Park, Japanese gardens & galleries, Bouddi National Park.

  • "We had a wonderful stay at The Shack over the Queens Birthday Long weekend period. The weather wasn't too red hot but we enjoyed listening to the sound of the waves crashing on the rock cliff each night while dozing off to sleep. We will definitley be back again in the Summer time - so relaxing, never wanted to leave. Thank you"

  • "We loved staying at The Shack. Its warm, cosy and cheerful and has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The beds are very comfortable and the shower nice and hot. Its a short walk to the beach (which is great for littlies) and cafes and a few km drive to Erina Mall (great shopping). The children loved the visit from the kookaburras (who they have named Kookie, Creamy and Tank, rosellas and bush turkies. Thank you Elizabeth, we hope to visit again one day soon. "

  • "This is a great weekend or holiday getaway, a lovely sunny house just 5mins walk up the road from the beach, the photos don't do the house justice, 2 big double rooms and a very cute little sunroom upstairs. A large sunny private terrace for breakfast in the sun and a large barbque if you want to do your own barbeque. The kitchen and house is very well equipped and amongst the highest standard I have seen in holiday properties. This really is a lovely place to stay and Copacabana is a great place to spend a very relaxing weekend, will definitely be back. "

  • "This place is great - don't read too much in to the name. It is a cozy little getaway amongst the tree tops and the outlook from the cliff's edge must be the best view of the surf beach in town. The house is well equipped with just the right amount of character to it. The owners' personal touches on our arrival were much appreciated. "
