Description

Towards evening on 18 August 1836, a small 160 tonne brig, the Rapid, her sails stained from much voyaging, anchored three miles out from a creek estuary among the sand dunes of the eastern shore of Gulf St.Vincent. In tribute to the shelter given by the bay, her Commander named it Holdfast Bay.

The City of Holdfast Bay was formed out of an amalgamation of the City Councils of Brighton and Glenelg in 1997. Holdfast Bay is a small bay in Gulf St Vincent, next to Adelaide, South Australia. Along its shores lie the City of Holdfast Bay and the popular beach-side suburb of Glenelg and Brighton.


Holdfast is a premium townhouse over 3 levels with private lift access offering luxury accommodation and is fully furnished and self contained providing all the comforts of home. There are 3 living areas with large flat screen TV’s, sleek ultra modern kitchen with huge gas oven and cook top, all modern European stainless steel appliances at your finger tips. Loads of cupboards filled with all the necessities of life, including everyday glasses, plates, platters, pots, pans and cooking utensils.

The spacious main bedroom suite is on level 2 with a king size bed, built in robes and ensuite with an enormous spa bath for the ultimate in relaxation.

On level 3 there are 3 other bedrooms, all with built in robes, one with a queen bed and the others with 2 single. The main bathroom has a deep bath for relaxation. The living rooms have modern superior quality furniture and large screen tv’s with sound system and a billard table on the lower ground level. The ground level has more living areas with dining and kitchen and the laundry with 3rd toilet, washing machine and dryer, along with an outdoor patio to enjoy BBQ’s and sunshine. A double lock up garage completes the picture.

The townhouse accommodated 8-10 people suitable for 2 families for that beach holiday.

Fourth bedroom with 2 single beds and wardrobes
There is a double sofa bed in the second living area.
All high quality linen provided.

Location

Located on the Esplanade at Brighton Beach this luxurious townhouse is just a walk across the road to sandy swimming beachs which are patrolled by the Brighton Surf Lifesaving Club. Directly opposite is the Brighton Jetty just waiting to take a stroll or enjoy a spot of fishing.
Jetty Road Brighton is only minutes away, with many trendy restaurants, cafes and shops to browse in , plus the hotel ‘Espy’ right next door. The supermarket and Brighton shopping centre is just nearby and the railway station a short walk. With the Adelaide CBD only 15 minutes away, international golf courses, Adelaide airport, AAMI Stadium, Glenelg Entertainment Precinct and SA wineries within an hour, this is the perfect base to explore and experience what South Australia has to offer whilst staying in the lap of luxury.

Accommodation rates

1st November 2009 to 2nd February 2009 - $700 per night - $4700 per week
2nd February to 1st May 2009 - $600 per night - $4000 per week
1st May 2009 to 26th September 2009 - $500 per night - $3200 per week.
26th September 2009 - 1st November 2009 - $600 per night - $4000 per week.

Cancellation Policy
The following cancellation fees will apply.

If you are able to inform us of your cancellation with more than thirty (30) days notice, your deposit will be refunded less a $50.00 accounting fee.

If notice is provided between thirty (30) days and not less than fifteen (15) days, 25% of the deposit* will be retained.

If less than fourteen (14) days and not less than seven (7)notice is given, 50% of the deposit* will be retained.

If cancellation notice is provided less than seven (7) days and up to one (1) day prior to the agreed check in date, 100% of the deposit* will be retained.

No cancellations are accepted on the day of arrival or after check in. You will be charged the total of the reserved stay under all circumstances.

Please note: * = The deposit is 50% of the agreed tariff on the full stay booked by the client.


Notification must be in writing either facsimilie or email and confirmed delivery is the responsibility of the Guest.
