Description

This unique family home and property is well known for the varied range of family orientated holiday activities. The spectacular Southern Ocean coastline, West Cape Howe National Park, The Nullaki Peninsula, Torbay and both Denmark and Albany are less that 20 minutes away. Nearby are some of Western Australia's most awarded wineries, restaurants and produce farms as well the tall Karri (Valley Of The Giants) forest regions of Nornalup National Park and the popular Tree Top Walk near Walpole.

An exciting range of holiday activities are available directly on the property including bush walking, canoeing, bike riding, chip and putt golf or just relaxing while soaking up the ambience of this special place. The house commands sweeping views of the Nenamup Inlet which laps the shoreline just twenty metres from the front door of the house. The abundant forest and aquatic bird life is truly spectacular and bird lovers will be in paradise. A quiet paddle in a canoe on the inlet will introduce you to many of the 73 species of birds that inhabit the area which include black swans, ducks, pelicans, spoonbills, egrets and ibises. The famous Bibbulmun Track is accessible year round and passes within a few hundred metres of Wolfes Landing just down the road.

This unique family holiday home is available for short term holiday accommodation. It has been recently renovated and features an ultra modern kitchen, theatre style wide screen television and entertainment system with a Foxtel satellite connection and sleeps up to eight adults and children. A large wood fired heater keeps this large house warm and comfortable in the cooler months. A range of backyard sporting equipment is provided for the kids and they will find the old fashioned tree swing at the back of the house a delight. A linen hire service is available if needed. • "Wolfes Landing is idyllic. A beautiful home that frankly I did not want to leave situated right on the inlet, surrounded by a multitude of birdlife and peaceful bushland - what more can you want? Perfect home for families with all the mod cons and those little touches like binoculars and books on fish and birdlife that made it even more special. Sitting out on the deck, either the lower or the upper one, sipping a lovely red wine purchased from one of the many wineries and just enjoying the view, the tranquility and the utter peace. My teenage children, my parents and myself and husband all enjoyed our stay and would recommend this lovely home and will definately be coming back. Thankyou for sharing with us."

  • "A wonderful 4 nights away. Beautiful location with gorgeous views over the inlet from the upstairs loft and outdoor area. Great grassed area for the kids to run around and a second undercover deck area with BBQ out the front make this a great family 'get a way' and chance to get close to nature. "

  • "We needed a rest and we got it. A fabulous spot. Loved that it was so secluded. Plenty of room for the kids to play. Canoeing and birdlife amazing and great to see they have a safe breeding ground - except for the preying eagle. Loved watching nature at play. We do not have TV at home so everyone loved the plasma TV to watch the Commonwealth Games. Gorgeous fire. We all loved the hammock and the kids tyre swing. I even beat Jeremy at golf. "

  • "We stayed at Wolfes for a birthday, with our puppy and had the BEST holiday we've had in ages. The house and the surroundings are so beautiful. We are still having happy dreams of being down there..."

  • "This place was awesome. Exactly what you want to escape too to avoid the hussle and bussle of the city. The facilities within the house are awesome. Something for everyone. TV, Wood fire heater, peace and quiet and best of all a great kitchen that you can cook up a storm in. ( Perfect for a family and perfect for mates to catch up with.) There are 2 outdoor seating areas which allow you to just sit back and enjoy what nature has to offer. Would I recommend this place, FOR sure.. i say what are you waiting for.... We will return some day soon. A big thanks to John for also arranging Linen at such sort notice."

  • "Total relaxation & a perfect spot close to beach and wineries. We stayed with our dog and agreed it was more his break than ours ! The house was perfect from the huge fireplace which kept us warm during the day and night, foxtel for the movies and a modern kitchen. Only problems was the mouse who came some time to chew on my heat pack which i left on the floor after the wheat and the bottom of the spiral staircase which has a small step, unfortunately i wasnt looking and rolled my ankle on. But at the end of the day i would stay again as it is a special place!"

  • " We loved this house, everything was a dream. Kitchen to cook great meals,Fireplace to keep us warm,Fox to watch a movie, beach 10 mins away .. and then to wake in the morning to total bliss of nature "

  • "Wolfes landing was recommended to us by friends who had stayed there. The track in is a little rough and slow going if you have a small car. Once in you have total seclusion. Very rustic & cosy. Nice big TV with a great fire. BBQ on big verandah and plenty of kangaroos. The house is well stocked and plenty of instructions. A nice place to relax. No problems with return of bond etc."
