Falconwood Retreat

Description

Falconwood Retreat is located only 4km from Denmark. It is set on 2 lovely treed and pastured hectares on a private road 160 metres high with spectacular valley, inlet and ocean views with often amazing sunrises. It has a family of kangaroos that graze on the property and the garden has herbs available for cooking.

The property is not suitabgle for young children but ages of 10 plus should be OK.

We are pet friendly but we do need prior notice and dogs must be sterilised. We allow i dog in the Cottage and 2 dogs in the Studio.

The Cottage

The cottage has two bedrooms. One with a queen bed and large built in Robes and the second with two king singles and robe. They are separated by a full bathroom with shower & toilet and a laundry with washing machine and 2nd enclosed toilet. The living areas have raked timber ceilings and timber floors. The Tasmanian oak kitchen & dining area is fully equipped with Italian stove, microwave, large fridge and many cooking pans, accessories and coffee makers. It opens on to a large deck with 50% under cover. The living area has lounge suite, A/C, gas heater, bookcase with games and book, radio and CD player and satellite TV and radio plus there is wireless internet available. The views from the living area and deck are quite spectacular across valley to inlet and ocean. The deck also provides a secure place for dogs who can also enjoy the 2 hectares accessing on to a private road.

The Studio

The studio is 2 storey open plan. The ground floor has a fully equipped Tasmanian oak galley kitchen with full stove, microwave, large fridge and many cooking pans, accessories and coffee makers. There is also the shower and toilet, dining area, lounge area with sofa futons, bookcase with books, gas heater, RC Air conditioning, satellite TV and radio, radio and CD player plus wireless internet is available. Upstairs there is a large open plan area with two queen beds and leather lounge suite that opens on to an outside deck with spectacular views across valleys, inlet and ocean. The Studio is great for couples but not suited to families.
