Relax and enjoy the River Murray from our beautiful holiday home at Nildottie. The house is located on the limestone cliffs above the river and has a large jarrah deck that takes advantage of the magnificent cliff and river views. It has three bedrooms, master with ensuite, modern kitchen and large living and dining areas. A slow combustion heater provides a lovely warm and cosy atmosphere during winter. There is a large enclosed paved area for young children to play.
This stretch of the Murray is ideal for water skiing and wake-boarding with large limestone cliffs giving wind protection and wonderful scenery. It is one of the quietest stretches between Walker Flat and Swan Reach. There is a private pontoon where a ski boat can be operated from or moored overnight. Or you could choose to swim, canoe, fish or simply relax by the river. The pontoon is located about 300 metres from the house with access restricted to a walking track down the cliff in front of the house. A 5 minute drive by car or boat takes you to the Ngaut Ngaut Aboriginal Site where you can experience a guided walk and learn about local aboriginal culture. The Nildottie General Store, Post Office, Fuel Station and Liquor Outlet are only a short walk or drive away.
Just wanted to let you guys know we had a fabulous time in your beautiful home. Such an incredibly stunning spot and so tranquil. We loved watching the birds flying over the cliffs and at times just above our heads while we were on the deck. We were both very sad to leave today and have made a pact to come back just
for a recharge. Dodge (our dog) couldn't believe the views from the deck and spent most of his time gazing out over the river. I have included a couple of photos we took.
Anyway, thank you so much for allowing us to enjoy your little treasure. The house was beautifully presented and congratulations on the lovely garden which just topped everything off nicely. It was a wonderfully peaceful break for us from our hectic life with three children!

Your home well and truly exceeded our expectations! The setup, layout, and all the homely touches didn't go unnoticed. Loved the Christmas tree, and decorations about the place, we have never before seen such a festive pelican.
There was a fair bit of water on the ramp across to the pontoon, but not enough to deter us, we gave it and the boat ramp a work out! We didn't catch much at all, but had a nice time exploring, and the view from that deck is amazing! We had a fantastic time, we will certainly be staying again. Thank you for sharing your nice and quiet piece of the world.
