The historic and fully renovated cottage is situated on an acre of private, fenced lawns, amongst 32 acres of rolling green hills, approximately 2 kilometres from Milton Post Office on the beaches side of Princes Highway. Ideally situated in a small quiet lane, literally between historic Milton Village, Narrawallee Inlet and Mollymook Beach.

Visitors will enjoy park like acres frequented by grazing cattle, kangaroos and local birdlife.

Enjoy relaxing meals on the private north facing deck, perfectly positioned to capture cooling sea breezes during the summer and northerly warming sun during winter.

Sungrove Cottage provides the perfect central, yet quiet location, to enjoy and explore our wonderful coastline, national parks, local shops, galleries, restaurants, wineries and markets.

ACCOMMODATION

Sungrove Cottage has been recently renovated and offers three bedrooms with one queen bed, one double bed and twin bunks. A double sofa bed is available in one of the two matching three seaters, in the loungeroom.

A fully-equipped kitchen with gas stove and oven, pantry, refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher; separate diningroom seating 6-8 guests includes an historic fireplace with slow combustion wood heater; full bathroom with separate shower, vanity and bath tub and separate laundry with washing machine and pull-out line, provide all the comforts of home.

New wall to wall carpets have been laid in all bedrooms and hallway and newly polished cypress floorboards are in the loungeroom and diningroom. New blinds and/or curtains have been recently fitted.

All bedrooms have either built-in or separate wardrobes. The first and second bedrooms with separate chests of drawers and bedside tables with lamps and digital clocks. The twin bunks have reading lamps.

The covered north facing covered deck has a gas barbeque and outdoor setting seating 6-8 guests with additional paved space for relaxation.

There is plenty of space available, in the half an acre of level backyard, to play boules, cricket or ball games (sets available) or just to kick back and relax. A large triple swing set is also available.

A flat screen 68 cm digital TV in the loungeroom with a combination DVD/Video player and a second wall-fitted TV are available in the main bedroom. Board games and cards are also available.

WHAT TO DO

The town of Milton was founded in 1860 and Sungrove was established shortly thereafter. Sungrove Cottage is the original home of Sungrove Farm now situated on 32 acres of prime farmland. It is conveniently located between Milton Village and Mollymook Beach. Take advantage of this perfect location by either, staying in and relaxing, or taking in some of the many local attractions.

The area is abundant with many great attractions including Milton Village which offers an enticing range of gift shops, restaurants, cafes, art galleries and craft shops. Patrolled Mollymook and Narrawallee Beaches are only two minutes away with some of the best surfing beaches less than five minutes away. Lake Conjola, Burrill Lake and Lake Tabourie are conveniently located close by.

Milton hosts a number of great celebrations throughout the year; including the Milton Show held every February, the Blessing of the Fleet held during Easter at nearby Ulladulla, the Milton Scarecrow Festival held during the June long weekend, the Escape Arts Fest held every September, and the Settlers’ Fair held during the October long weekend, to name a few.

Other attractions include three different monthly craft markets, live theatre, visiting music artists’ performances, museums and a variety of local celebrations including wine and beer tasting and the annual motorcycle show.

Enjoy a walk around historic sites, watch passing whales and frolicking dolphins at the closest beaches, play a round or two at either the 9 or 18 hole golf courses or just sit and unwind amongst fresh open spaces. Parking issues, noisy neighbours or traffic noise will not be found at Sungrove Farm Cottage.
