  • "Bonnie Doone is a lovely, homely getaway. We visited in winter and had the fire place going which really set off the ambience. The outdoor area is fantastic and I can only imagine staying there in the warmer months enjoying the decking. The upstairs retreat is great with it's own verandah overlooking the park. It is a shame urbanisation is surrounding Bonnie Doone, but it is still a great getaway, walking distance to the quiet end of the estuary and close enough to civilisation if needed. I highly recommend Bonnie Doone. "

  • "Such a lovely, well maintained home with character and charm. We really enjoyed our stay there and will return again. Especially loved the indoor open fire place, the balcony in the loft room overlooking the reserve (where kangaroos bounce around @ dawn) and the lovely outdoor decking with big dining table. "

  • "This house is fantastic. On first impressions, both my partner and I exclaimed at how nice it was inside. Indeed, it has quite a homely feel. The outdoor decking area is quite large and is great for outdoor entertainment. It is only a few minutes' drive from the beach, which had barely anyone there at all. The master bedroom is comfy and has a nice view of the adjacent block, which as of April 2009, is vacant and currently covered with native Australian plants and trees, and has an ensuite. All in all, it was a great stay!"

  • "Well located. Felt like a holiday home. Everything in good condition, nice & clean. Close to Estaury for Crabbing. Will stay again."
