Brooklyn and How to Get There

Brooklyn has excellent restaurants specialising in seafood all within 2 kms and a number of takeway cafe's. BBQ areas and an enclosed sandy salt water swimming pool together with the Hawkesbury River Marina is located on the point and you can catch the Dangar Island Ferry on the hour and have lunch at the coffee shop at the public wharf. On the weekends the Dangar Inland Bowling Club serves lunch and dinner.A walk around the island with rain forest and a swim at the beach is most refreshing.You can trek on "The Great Northern Walk" to Cowan or Woy Woy and return on the train. A walk from Parsley Bay to Dead Horse Bay with its sandy beach is wonderful.

We are located less than 1 hour from Sydney CBD by the F3 Freeway or Train to Hawkesbury River Station. Within half an hour you can travel to Hornsby for the movies at the largest Westfield shopping centre in Sydney or to Gosford on the Central Coast. The Hunter Valley is just 45 minutes away for wine buffs.
