Brooklyn and How to Get There

Brooklyn has excellent restaurants all within 2klms plus a number of takeway cafes. BBQ areas and an enclosed sandy salt water swimming pool, together with the Hawkesbury River Marina, is located on the Point. Take the Dangar Island Ferry and lunch at the coffee shop on Dangar Island, walk around the Island or have a swim. Take a trek on The Great Northern Walk to Cowan or Woy Woy and return on the train. A walk from Parsley Bay to Dead Horse Bay with its sandy beach is wonderful.

Located less than 1 hour from Sydney CBD by the F3 Freeway or train to Hawkesbury River Station. Within half an hour, you can travel to Hornsby for the movies at the largest Westfield Shopping Centre in Sydney or Gosford on the Central Coast. The Hunter Valley is just 45 minutes away for wine buffs.
