Terra Nova Houses is a 1876 National trust listed property that offers Bed/Breakfast, located in the hub of Kirribilli close to the cafe life, restaurants and landmarks that makes Sydney famous it is one of 4 terraces that are the oldest left on the North Shore of Sydney It boasts a roof garden that overlooks Sydney Harbor, the Opera House and Circular Quay. All photo's are taken on or from the premises.
Location is what we are about with the train and ferry 2 minutes from our door. We are close to Luna Park, Nth Sydney,The Ensemble Theater and walking tracks around the harbor foreshore. An easy walk over the bridge finds you at the Rocks and the city. Terra Nova House has all modern conveniences and has been beautifully restored. Rooms are serviced and breakfast is included. We promise you its special and unique with only a few rooms available FROM $150.00 PER NIGHT PER DOUBLE do not delay!

This is the best value and located bed and breakfast that it is possible to have, you know another one? please inform us , we think it does not exist. Try us check us out, bet you will agree WE HAVE AIR/CONDITIONING IN 3 BEDROOMS when it's 40 degree's it's very welcome

The room was very clean, hot and cold drinks were available freely which is great when you have children. Breakfast was buffet style with cereal, toast, fresh fruit, yoghurt and drinks. We really liked the roof garden which looks right over Sydney Harbour a brilliant surprise. We would certainly return."

  • "I would consider myself a bit of an expert when it comes to staying at B&B's (that is, through trial and error). Having spent the last 2+ years working/travelling abroad, i got to experience some of the best and worst out there.... however, i am happy to say that my week stay at Terra Nova House in Kirribilli was definately one of the best! :) I was pleasantly surprised in all aspect: Location (literally the B&B is located around the corner from the Sydney Harbor and only 2 minutes to the city by Train), quality (of the rooms and facilities) and felt warmly welcomed by the hosts Vince and Jacki. The breakfast in the morning was fresh, with a selection of fruits, breads, cereals and tea. I also had access to the communal areas, which included the Terrace, which had amazing views of the Opera House and Sydney Harbor bridge. For those interested in trying the local recreational amenities, the North Sydney pool is only 2 minutes walk away. As you are swimming, you literally see the Sydney Harbor drift by with each stroke! All in all, this is definately a hidden gem which i would highly recommend to friends, family and any other potential B&B travellers. I will admit, although B&B's are not everyone's cup of tea, this one is well worth trying. It's the fraction of the cost compared to staying in a hotel Sydney, but such a lovely lovely experience. And, although i now live in Sydney, i would even come back for a weekend escape, just for some quality R&R time. Perhaps next time if the weather is good, i will be reading a book on theTerrace? (that would be idillic :) ) "
