Take a short stroll to famous Cable Beach or do nothing but relax in the leather couches and ambient air-conditioned comfort. Plenty of choices for places to eat; and all a short stroll away. Fine dining at the famous Cable Beach Club Resort, The Zoo Café, Zanders on Cable Beach, Zeebar for wine and food. Easy meals at the Divers Tavern, or a quick focaccia at the Cable Beach General Store and Cafe. Or you can make your way into town (only 5 min by car) to visit more places to eat. My favorite, Arli Bar next to my other fav Noodle Fish. The choices are endless. Take a visit to the highly recommended Bali Hai Spa, Pintada Day Spa, or try Chahoya Day Spa at Cable Beach Club Resort. Once again all within walking distance from Rumah di Pantai.

If you really want to do something…

Get a group together and stay during the Broome Race round or during the colourful Shinju Matsuri Festival (Festival of the Pearl) or just come to experience what Broome has to offer. There is plenty to do if you want too. Camel riding, hovercraft tours, pearl shopping, double decker bus tours, fishing charters, visit the Broome Crocodile Park, take in the movies and the Sun Pictures (oldest outdoor movie theatre in the world) and much more. Hire some scooters or a beach buggy for a fun way to see Broome. Grab a tour and learn of the colourful history of the Pearling days then go each pearl shop in Chinatown to pick out your favorite pearls.
