Description

This three bedroom home set high to capture the sense of the surrounding bush and distant valley views contains everything you need.

Upstairs contains a Queen bedroom, double bedroom and twin bedroom all with linen, quality quilts and electric blankets for a winter retreat. Ample lounge room contains TV, DVD, VHS and CD player. Fully equipped kitchen (with breakfast basket for your first morning). Full laundry with washing machine and dryer. Bathroom with bath and shower. Reverse cycle air-con for year round comfort, with a slow combustion wood fire (timber provided) for extra cosiness in the winter months. Double carport.

The separate lower floor contains a large games room (includes table tennis, board games and books) with a second lounge area and a second bathroom.

To enjoy the peace of the Blue Mountains you don\'t have to step any further than the large wrap around verandah, or take on the Centennial Glen/Porters Pass bush walks that start at the end of the street.

Location and Attractions

This house is ideally located for a short (or long) break in the beautiful Blue Mountains. Just a few minutes from the centre of Blackheath, with its lively village atmosphere. The centre of Blackheath offers cafes, gourmet bakeries, deli, antiques, galleries and artisan wares. Two hotels/pubs, take-aways, restaurants and fine-dining establishments are all located within the compact centre.

Blackheath is a beautiful part of the upper blue mountains, offering great opportunities for bushwalking, the Rhododendron Gardens and beautiful look-out points across the Blue Mountains and surrounding valleys.

The house is located close to the beginning of the Centennial Glen walk, which links to the Porter\'s Pass walk. These walks offer short or long loops, with varying bushland and rainforest, spectacular views, waterfalls and caves.

The nearby roads to the Megalong Valley and Shipley Plateau also offer unique Tea Room experiences, apple orchard sales, horse riding and more. Alternatively it is only a ten minute drive to the tourist attractions of Katoomba and Leura, or to Mt Victoria (enjoy the old-fashioned Mt Vic Flicks cinema).
