Rosebud Cottage, together with sister Cottage, Bell's Heritage Cottage, is an authentic pioneer wooden slab cottage - 150 years old and one of the oldest cottages in the Canberra district. Rosebud has three delightful rooms - a kitchen/living area with leather lounge and Foxtel, a double bedroom with a modern, comfortable four-poster bed, with luxurious mattress, and a separate ultra modern bathroom and laundry.
Rosebud Cottage is set on a family farm - one of the last in the ACT - yet faces a suburban street in Cook, inner Belconnen. The lovely back deck overlooks beautiful rural views and there are even bushwalks on the doorstep, despite being so close to Canberra City.
Enjoy the peace and quiet of Rosebud - your country retreat in the middle of the National Capital! Parties of 4 adults can book both cottages at the same time (see Stayz listing for Bell's Cottage). Unfortunately, the heritage cottages are unsuitable for children.
