We stayed at Yumbara Mountain Retreat a few days over New Year's Eve and enjoyed it so much we didn't want to leave. The accommodation is a quiet, pretty cottage surrounded by beautiful rural gardens. The kitchen is well equipped and great breakfast ingredients are supplied. All of the furniture was comfortable and the fireplace was a brilliant bonus - even in summer East Warbuton gets cool nights. The best part was that the house was just down the road from the pick-your-own blueberry and raspberry farm. The owners were lovely to deal with and although their house is close by, the cottage was private. I highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a relaxing escape from the city - you won't be disappointed!

Clare and I had an enjoyable, relaxing stay at Yumbara. Set next to National Park, with walks from the edge of the property, there is abundant native birdlife, a pond full of frogs and two cheeky donkeys. The wooden and pressed mudbrick house is spacious, comfortable and warm with a a woodfire and wood oven. You can cook meals in the well stocked kitchen or use the BBQ. I would highly recommend staying here when visiting the Warburton area.
