The impressive Living Pavilion at the rear of the house overlooking the water presides over the property. This pavilion is modeled upon a traditional Balinese dwelling, with a soaring spectacular roof supported by huge beams. The expansive space is furnished with comfortable sofas, ottomans, and coffee table. The built-in BBQ is also housed in this Pavilion with a comfortable dining setting for 8 people, take advantage of the fabulous Queensland climate and dine outdoors all year round.
Raffia Beach House has two full sized master suites:
One of the master suites is a fully detached teak Burre style bungalow with a high roof constructed of warm timbers. The modern furnishings include a sitting area for a quiet retreat and outdoor chairs on your private deck overlooking the water.
The other master bedroom is part of the main house, yet very private, this room is ideal if you have young children and you dont want to be detached from the house, it has an en-suite with a huge spa bath for your own private moments.
The 3rd & 4th bedrooms have 2 single beds in each room. These to rooms share the main bathroom with a separate toilet. Sleeps up to 8 people (max 6 adults)
Both the living areas have Foxtel which will please all movie & sport fanatics.
The north facing sun drenched mango-shaped swimming pool is set in a tropical garden, this is fantastic for outdoor entertaining, situated on the other side of the house away from the main living pavilion, enjoy a drink by the pool in the Bali Hut or relax with a casual meal as you watch the kids frolic in the pool. You can relax with the knowledge that the pool is fully fenced as is the boundary that fronts the water on the canal, very safe for children & welcomed furry friends!
Raffia House has its own pontoon and sandy beach so if you want to stay home and enjoy these facilities you can fish for bream from the jetty or go for a paddle around the waterways in the 2 kayaks provided to check out the million dollars homes from the water side.
This property is ideal for two families wishing to holiday together.
Raffia House is in a residential area, so is not available for parties, functions or end of school celebrations.

My family and I enjoyed every moment of our stay at Raffia house. I'll never forget my kid brothers and I going room to room on arrival and calling out to each other to come look, getting more and more excited as it seemed to just keep getting better. Even better than the pictures! We enjoyed many meals on the beautiful deck overlooking the canal, endless fun in the pool, countless kayak adventures and a lot of laughs playing on the lawn by the water. It was hard to motivate our parents to leave the the outdoor area to go to theme parks! Annie and her husband were always so lovely and accomodating to speak with. A truly beautiful holiday. Couldn't have been better. Will be back for sure, thanks Annie!!

We didn't get an opportunity to write in your Guest Book, but want to let you know that we had a fantastic time at Raffia House. It was great to arrive at a house that was spotlessly clean, well located, and had the extra advantages of the kayaks and fishing rods! After hectic days at the theme parks, it was refreshing to go back to your house and enjoy some peaceful moments!

Such a wonderful house to holiday in, plenty off room for the kids, 2 TVs were great, luxury furnishings, fantastic views, close to pacific fair, Paddle boats were so much fun, beaut pool, shame we couldnt swim as it was a Tad cool, great neighbour, would recommend to any family.

Pure Luxury! Raffia House is a first class home on the Broadbeach Canal. Plenty of room. Private swimming pool. Huge kitchen overlooking the outdoor BBQ area under the huge Bali style gazebo overlooking the Canal. Fishing off the jetty was great. We kayaked up the canal too. The bungalow created more private space. It is now hard for us to choose between Villa Casa and Raffia House. Thank you Annie - your accomodation homes are well equipped, very clean, spacious and luxurious!

WOW!! What a beautiful house!! So close to everything, yet so quiet. Raffia House not only met, but exceeded our expectations. We had 5 adults stay and the house was large enough for us to do our own thing, and our Cavalier King Charles puppy also loved being on holidays with us. Would definately recommend this house, and my family will be staying at Raffia House again!

Raffia house was more than what we expected, the reaction when we booked the house and saw the photos on the net was nice, but when we actually arrived at the house...it was better than the pictures. We had an awesome time, the house provided everything we needed for a fantastic time, not to mention that it took literally 2 mins to get to the Casino, Pacific Fair and the Oasis Retaurants and eateries...
When we stepped out of the deck area..the views were just breath taking..
Raffia was more than just a comfortable accommodation, it was a luxury in its own rights and we sure will stay there again and again everytime we come to the Gold Coast....
We spent our 6 nights stay fishing at the back yard, relaxing by the pool....we were living like Kings...
My dog loved the house too, he loved taking a walk on the sand and jumping in the water and playing treasure hunt underneath the decks.
We had some kids stayed with us too and the house was fully kids friendly...

Raffia Beach House was all we expected and more,the photos only hint at the quality of this holiday home.It was the most relaxing place we could have come 'home ' to after a hectic day of sightseeing. We loved our BBQ's on the deck and the fishing off the pontoon (we even caught some!)The location was so convenient to everything.Only regret is that we should have booked for longer!!

Promised Annie to write a review but took some time as there were just too much good things to say about the Raffia House.
It was everything as shown in the pictures and much more. Everything we needed were there.
It is a shame that we did not have enough time to enjoy all of it.
Annie and Mike were always there to make sure everything is perfect.
You would not get it wrong with this property.

This house was amazing! We had 3 couples plus a young child and had plenty of room. The back entertaining area overlooking the canal was absolutely beautiful and the seperate bungalow made us feel like we were on our honeymoon! Everything we could have wanted was provided, and Annie was a pleasure to deal with. A wonderful house that we will be staying at again in the future. Fantastic location and a stunning property!

Raffia house was just what we needed. Right on the water, north facing sundrenched pool,impeccably presented and super comfortable. The kids had a ball and we had a chance to unwind. What a great place - we would reccommend it to anyone.

We were fortunate enough to be the very first to stay in Raffia House as a guests!! The best time was had by all � there were 2 couples with our 3 children between us. The house was very comfortable with everything we would ever want - Foxtel, wireless Broadband and 2 flat screen TV�s so there was no fighting when the footie started on Friday night!! The kids had a great time on the kayaks and even our Labradoodle �Oscar� was included. We have all decided to come back in the very near future as we didn�t even get to go to �Jupiter Casino� although we did do a fair bit of damage on our CR cards at Pac fair!!
Annie was great to deal with � so helpful and accommodating with useful advice
