'Seaview Gardens' is only a stone's throw from Rockingham's vibrant cappucinno strip where local shops and eateries will cater for your every whim. The local transit bus stops outside and will take you to Rockingham City shopping centre for some serious retail therapy, or to the train station where you can board a train and be in Perth in less than 40 minutes.

Local History...

Located forty minutes south of Perth, Rockingham is a holiday resort city of some 80,000 residents. In 1827 Captain James Stirling landed on Garden Island just off the coast, and two years later the Swan River Colony was founded. Nowadays, Garden Island is home to HMAS Stirling Naval Base, Australia's largest fleet base. In the early days, Rockingham was a busy port for the timber industry, shipping jarrah and sandlewood overseas. Rockingham is a popular tourist destination with beautiful expanses of safe beaches, water sports, and environmental parks.

Seaview Gardens is situated right in the heart of the Rockingham foreshore. The cafe strip has an abundance of fine eateries where one can wine and dine la fresco style while watching the sun set over the Indian Ocean.
