The house is hidden away in a bushland area of Rainbow Beach and provides guests with a very comfortable place to sit back and enjoy. You can relax by listening to the sound of the surf breaking on the beach and hearing the native Australian birds singing in the surrounding natural forests.
This house is great for little ones and people with disabilities as it is all one level with no stairs or steps allowing easy access for wheelchairs or prams.
All this and so close to Fraser Island and other National parks. This house can be used as a base to go explore these wonderful areas.
Local Area
18 Naiad is located just 150m walk from the beach via a bush track easily accessable at the back of the patio. Along this track there are no roads or traffic to be watching for. The beach stretches for many kms in both directions and is free of 4wd traffic within a few kms.
Have a barbecue on the large verandah or picnic at the beach. Cook a meal on the brand new kitchen or eat out at the many varied restraurants at Rainbow Beach.
The township of Rainbow Beach is 2 km away and provides a number of restraurants, bars,clubs, supermarkets and some small shops.
Attactions
Only a short drive away you can visit some amazing attactions of the Cooloola Coast.
*The coloured sands, which are on the doorstep of Rainbow Beach, just to the south.
*The Carlo Sand Blow, a natural sand formation which overlooks the ocean bay and is 3 kms from the house.
*Lake Poona, a natural freshwater lake, can be visited by taking a short drive and then taking a beautiful walk though a rainforest.
*Inskip Point, only 10 kms away, is where the sth. end of Fraser Island, the ocean and Tin Can Bay meet, and is a great place to swim , beachcomb and relax. This is also the place to access Fraser Island by a 10 minute ferry ride.
*Seary's Creek, a freshwater creek that provides cool swimming holes or easily explore the area along its boardwalks.
