The master bedroom (queen bed) is upstairs, with its own TV, plenty of storage via a walk in robe, ensuite and spcaious balcony to enjoy a coffee & read the morning papers in absolute privacy. Downstairs are the living areas and 2 extra bedrooms - one with 2 single beds and a desk, the other with a queen bed. All bedrooms have plenty of hanging and storage space.
The house has a luxurious bath for relaxing in, plus a shower over the bath for when time is precious! There's also a spacious shower in the ensuite upstairs. The living areas are all open plan with floor to ceiling glass overlooking a private courtyard and landscaped path along the side of the house. With a dining table for 6, enough kitchen space and facilities to cook up a storm, the best reverse cycle airconditioning system on the market, and luxurious lounge suites to relax and watch the wide screen, plasma TV/DVD with Foxtel or listen to CD's, you'll find it easy to make The Glass House your home.
Wireless internet and local phone calls included. The outdoor living space is fabulous with BBQ and a great dining setting for 6. Pets welcome on arrangement.
Situated close to the famous South Melbourne Market, or just a short walk to the tram to either the city, Albert Park lake or St Kilda.
South Melbourne, between the south bank of the Yarra River and Port Phillip Bay, originated at the elevated area first known as Emerald Hill, two kilometres south of Melbourne. The South Melbourne neighbourhood is bounded by the West Gate Freeway to the north; Kingsway to the east, Albert Road, Albert Park reserve, Ferrars Street, Bevan Street and St Vincent St to the south; and Pickles Street and Boundary Street to the west. South Melbourne is one of the oldest neighbourhoods within the City of Port Phillip. The housing stock dates primarily from the Victorian era with a significant stock of high rise public housing from the 1960s and 1970s. The neighbourhood also contains a substantial office, industrial and warehouse component. The neighbourhood is well served by the main South Melbourne shopping area in Clarendon Street, several tramlines and the St Kilda light rail line. Other notable physical features include the South Melbourne Town Hall, South Melbourne Soccer Ground and the famous South Melbourne Market - a must for any visitor to the area.
Pet Stays are welcome by arrangement. We just add $40 per week for additional cleaning and maintenance as we have found that no matter how gorgeous they are, most of our pet guests leave us a little bit of extra cleaning!
Check in 2:00 pm; check out 11:00am. We are more than happy to be flexible on these times depending on other bookings at the time.

Minimum Stays:
We have a 5 night minimum for bookings made 1 month or more in advance and we will accept stays of 3 or 4 nights at our discretion within the month or if they join directly to another booking leaving no gaps in our calendar. Some peak periods attract longer minimum stays:
Spring Racing Carnival/Melbourne Cup: 7 nights
Christmas/New Year: 7 nights
Australian Open Tennis 2013: 7 nights
