Description

Willmett Apartments are located in the city heart within walking distance of restaurants, nightclubs, shops, The Strand (beach), Magnetic Island ferry terminal, Aquarium and V8 Supercar track.

The penthouse apartment contains two bedrooms and two bathrooms and is decorated as a cross between a New York loft and modern gallery. The heritage listed building was originally a printers warehouse built in 1884 and was redeveloped in 2004. Many original features have been preserved such as the antique winch in the main bathroom, cathedral ceilings, exposed trusses and skylights.

The main recreation areas near the pool table and the TV area each feature two large Moran leather couches. One couch in each area folds out into a comfortable bed so the apartment can sleep up to 8 people if necessary.

The modern kitchen is a joy to cook in with large fanforced oven, gas cooktop, and a plethora of stainless steel finish appliances. If you don’t feel like cooking there are Thai, Chinese, Italian, Turkish, Mexican etc restaurants most of which do takeaway in the same block as the apartment.

The sound system has been recently upgraded to a Windows Media Integrated System with surround sound in the TV area and separate speakers/zones at the pool table and balcony. You can bring your own music and movie files on a flash drive or use the owner’s selection.

The main bathroom features a large spa bath.

The bedding is queen beds in each of the 2 bedrooms. There are 2 double fold out sofas in the lounge which can be made up for $50/bed (incl towels). Early check in (1230pm) and late checkout (4pm) are likely to be available at no additional charge.
