Description

Situated in the foothills of sentinal Cooroy Mountain (on the coastal side of the Bruce Highway), and views out to Mount Eerwah is a luxury 1 bedroom, fully self-contained, contemporary style cottage.

A 4 minute drive down the Eumundi Range and you are at the world famous Eumundi Markets, cafes etc.

A 12 minute drive down the Eumundi Range and you are at the Noosa River, Noosa Civic Shopping Centre, cafes, shops etc.

Only 8 minute drive to Cooroy - the Noosa Hinterland Hub - with all facilities, world class library & a truely great Super IGA Supermarket.

The Eumundi Range Get-Away Cottage is a 'one only' holiday cottage on a private acreage property, situated in the paddock behind the main residence, with a walk-way through to the cottage.

Privacy and fantastic views affording a sense of getting away from it all whilst being within minutes to all the Sunshine Coast has to offer.

Go to sleep with, and wake up to, the myriad sounds of nature. Soak up the tranquility that comes with watching the cattle & horses graze plus of course the wallabies & other wild-life.

EXTRA GUESTS: A fully furnished & ensuited 'Bed-Sit' is available under the main house for $60 per night. (see last photos) Only available with a booking for the Cottage. A direct path links the Bed-Sit and the Cottage.

Note: The Eumundi Range Get-Away Cottage is not fenced. Family pets are welcome provided prior arrangements re safety issues etc are discussed with the owner of the property at time of booking inquiry.

The Get-Away House provides a home for a number of rescued animals incl ponies & horses.

  • "Hi Lois, A quick note to thank you again for a lovely breakaway this past week. Adrian and I enjoyed your accommodation, everything that we could need had been provided for and thought of. We loved your extras like the muffins in the fridge, dvds, games, the visits by your 2 dogs, the horses in the pasture and the peace and quietness of the beautiful country setting. Your place is easily accessible to the Eumundi Market (which I loved!) and Noosa and yet if you choose to stay away, feels a world away from the "real world". We have already recommended you to others. Thank you so much!!!"

Yet everything nearby, beaches markets, great bookshops eateries etc. Not to mention Lois and her family as the perfect host! Highly recommended."

  • "What can we say except WOW! - what an awesome place! We were greeted with bright, happy, smiling faces which made us feel extremely welcome. The house is perfect, it is beautifully decorated & the stunning views from every room in the house were simply breath taking. Waking up in the mornings to nothing but the sounds of nature was sheer heaven & the bed was so incredibly comfy. The hospitality was first class & our every need was catered for. Sitting on the deck with a glass of wine late in the afternoon laughing & chatting with everybody, watching the sun go down made us feel like part of the family & just topped of the perfect day. The dogs had the time of their lives running themselves ragged meeting & playing with all the other animals that lived on the farm. It's hard to say who enjoyed it more, us or the dogs, but at the end of our stay the dogs made it very clear that they did not want to go & getting them into the car turned out to be quite a mission. When we got them home they sulked for several hours but were so exhausted that all they wanted to do was sleep....Thank you so much Lois & Co for your outstanding hospitality providing the perfect get-away. All You'll definitely be seeing us again soon. "

  • "What a great place to relax and explore the Noosa and Eumundi region. Quiet clean and well appointed. The getaway definitely lives up to its name. Far enough away from the world to feel secluded however still amazingly close to to all the city mod cons. Lois was an outstanding host, with a wealth of knowledge of the area, just what you need to help get the most out of visiting an area that is new to you. Norman (our dalmatian) had a great time and im sure will miss everyone, especially rosie the cow. The ability to leave Norm for the day, made the trip so very relaxing. Thanks again and will look forward to another trip, so will many of my family after the reviews I gave them, and the day trips they made from brisbane. Congratulations to everyone at the Eumundi range getaway house what a great place for a holiday."

  • "WOW - what a stay! This was such a great holiday no one in the family wanted to leave. The kids rode horses and participated daily in feeding the animals. Our dogs ran ragged, playing tag with their favorite friend "Rosie" the minature cow. All the time we were able to sit on the deck, watch and relax. Lois made our stay so warm and welcoming, we will be back for sure! Would recommend this desitination to anyone from a couple wanting a total "R & R" weekend or a family wanting some farm fun which also includes the family four legged friends! Thanks Lois - I'm sure we will see you again."
