Just wanted to say thankyou for sharing your piece of paradise. The house
was warm, inviting and relaxing. The location was amazing!! There was enough room for the youngest to watch his DVD's at one end of the house, while the teenager occupied himself with the other TV room (thats when he wasnt out exploring the creek that runs through the yard and watching the Water Dragons)! Beach is literally footsteps away. The whole backdrop was breathtaking & dramatic. We will definitely return at some stage in the future.

This was Humble and Very Comfortable accommodation in the most beautiful location. Terrific mountain views and close proximity to one of the most beautiful Beaches in Australia, saw me arrive and not leave until it was time to check out. Everything you need is at this little miners cottage - one of the original style homes at Coalcliff (with its history as a Coal Miners Village - which is becoming so much more in recent times). This Accomidation had a most beautiful recently fitted out kitchen and sunroom area , that encourages you to have the most Relaxing and inspiring Coastal/ Country Getaway. I escaped the Hustle and Bustle and zoned right out here. Other creature comforts (if I wanted them ) were available in the surrounding Villages which were just a stone throw away along the beautiful costal route, including the Sea Cliff Bridge . I went for a personal escape and I did not feel alone in my 3 day stay at all - I was so content in this cottage I didnt want to leave.

Yes, this is an older house but my kids were much more interested in space to play, both inside and out, and how close the beach was. (A 5 minute toddler amble). My wife and I relaxed on the large balcony, a cold drink, sunshine and a seaview. What more do you need to end the day ?

I've stayed at this place twice. It is in a sensational location and is very relaxing. I've visited with a group and as a couple, both experiences were more than comfortable. Spotted a Whale from the balcony over Sunday breakfast, no better way to finish the weekend. Very homely and very highly recommended.

It is an old house(I am not joking, it is quite old), but after you see the ocean view, the little stream that is flowing next to backyard and listen to beautiful birds and the waves, you do not even realise where you are staying. The weekend that i went was full sunny altought it is autumn. To put in short I can say it was awsome.

Hey there. I would just like to thankyou for my lovely stay at the cottage in Coalcliff. My family and I enjoyed every bit of it not disappointed at all. It was a great weekend with fantastic views and the beach was just so refreshing. We hope to go there in future so I'll keep in touch for when I would like to book it once again.
Thanks again
Cheers.

Brilliant - so peaceful and relaxing with plenty of living area and beautiful surrounds. Your troubles lift from your shoulders the minute you step in the door. We found the older style john boy kitchen/bathroom a wonderful change away from the modern stainless steel plastic brand new feel. The earthy warm feeling was delightful although the fittings are well worn but comfortable to the max. Really just a short stroll to the beach. A slice of heaven & fresh air!
