No holiday to the Cairns region is complete without spending a few days on Atherton Tablelands. At around 600m above sea level, the Tablelands is always a few degrees cooler than Cairns, which is especially welcome in the summer months. The natural beauty of the rainforest, lakes and waterfalls, make the Atherton Tableland a \"Must Do\" for all visitors to Tropical North Queensland. Tinaroo Lake Resort is located in Tinaroo township, on a peninsula surrounded by Lake Tinaroo. Tinaroo Lake Resort is a fabulous getaway for couples looking for a quite weekend and families looking for fun out on the water. Some apartments have been especially fitted with full disabled facilities.
Tinaroo Lake Resort
The Tinaroo Lakes Resort is AAA rated at 4.5 stars and is simply the best accommodation available of the Atherton Tablelands. All apartments in the resort have magnificent views over Lake Tinaroo. Holiday apartments have 1, 2 and 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and are self contained with a full kitchen and laundry facilities. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the other bedroom(s) contain 1 king bed or 2 king single beds. Bedding configurations can be arranged on request. Each apartment also has a sofa bed in the living area if extra bedding is required. All apartments are finished to the highest standard with marble tiled bathrooms, granite benches and red cedar cabinet work.
Please note our apartments are not serviced daily. For stays of 7 nights or more we offer a complimentary mid-stay service providing fresh towels and linen.
Please note our restaurant "The Lodge" is not open midweek Monday-Thursday inclusive.
Lake Tinaroo
Lake Tinaroo is a haven for water skiers, sailors, fisherman and wildlife watchers. With no crocodiles, sharks or stingers, Lake Tinaroo is safe for all water sports all year round. The lake is stocked with sport fish including the prized Barramundi. The world record Barramundi was caught in Lake Tinaroo and those in the know say that even bigger Barra are in the lake.
