We had a great time at mudjimba for our family holidays and we very pleased with the Beach House. The house has everything you could ask for with a family and is right across the road from the patrolled beach which made it ideal for us. The owners of the property we excellent and nothing was too much trouble for them. We loved the property so much we've already booked for another stay and would have no hesitation in recommending the property to any family looking for a great beach holiday.

The photos on the website of this home do NOT do it justice. The house is magnificant!!! We were a group of 50 Y.O + women predominately from Melbourne who have a reunion once a year and generally travel to a different state each time. Our stay in Mudjimba without a doubt was the best accommodation we have experienced. Apart from the great location, the home itself left nothing to chance, it was clean, well appointed, comfortable beds, great bathrooms and the balcony was just great, everything we needed was there. David greeted us at the house to show us a once over, he was very friendly, gave us some great tips for eating out etc.Nothing seemed too much trouble for him. Location fantastic, across the road from the beach, a hop, skip and jump to shops and restaurants, 5 minutes from the airport. Our only disappointment was that we did not use the pool, but certainly next trip back, and there will be one, we will try and arrange in warmer weather.

What a fantastic & wonderful long weekend! 10 of us stayed here for 3 nights for a joint 30th birthday celebration & we had the most amazing time! Directly across the road from the gorgeous Mudjimba beach, this awesome house is conveniently located a stones throw from a few cafes & restaurants, a short drive to a big Coles & only 5 mins from the airport. The photos don't even do the house justice - it's even more beautiful when you see it with your own eyes! Perfectly decorated, well set-out, comfortable, clean & homely, we had more than enough space to eat & hang out together, as well as retreat into smaller groups & not feel like we were living in each other's pockets. The giant BBQ & undercover balcony was a Godsend - I think we ate most meals out there. We were blessed with fantastic weather & if we had this much fun in the middle of Winter, I can only imagine how wonderful it would be in Summer. I can't recommend this place enough - for a friend reunion or a family getaway, I guarantee you'll enjoy your time at Surfside Beachouse.

What a wonderful holiday and what a magnificent house. Yes the house is definitely as good as the photos show.
David greeted us upon our arrival and showed us through the house which is right on the esplanade at Mudjimba Beach. The dog-friendly beach itself is only 50 metres across the road and is beautiful and well maintained and patrolled.
The house was spotless and all linen, towels, soap etc were provided and they even had a bottle of fresh milk, coffee and tea for us. There's a general store about 100 metres down the road as well as a cafe and restaurant. We went to the Novotel Twin Waters (about 2 kilometres away) for dinner one night (seafood buffet) and that was also very good.
Location-wise, the house is very central to many of the Sunshine Coast attractions - all within easy driving distance. There is also a bus service available right past the door to connect you with anywhere you may want to go if you don't have a car.
There's a good-sized Centro shopping centre about 2 kilometres away with a large supermarket, baker, butcher, take-ways and cafes.
A very quiet location for a peaceful get-away or great for a family holiday. Kids' dorm downstairs can be 'shut-off' from the rest of the house with their own TV, games and access to the pool area. Reverse-cycle air conditioning means that you are always comfortable no matter what the weather is like outside.
We will definitely be going back and would not hesitate in recommending this this place to anyone. You won't be disappointed.

We booked Surfside Beach House for a family reunion including 6 adults and 4 kids. When I made the booking, the interior photos had not been posted on Stayz so I was a little nervous. But all of those early nerves disappeared when we arrived. It is a superbly appointed house with all the mod cons you could need, beautiful architectural lines and a spacious interior that allowed people to go off and do their own thing whilst still being under the same roof. The position is excellent right in front of the beach. And there is a cute little salt water pool to help you cool off. There is also a great little Mudjimba rainforest walk about 500 m from the house on the way to Twin Waters that is worth a go. The coffee at the cafe (walking distance) is excellent.
Overall its highly recommended. I think its going to be hard to book this place in the future once everybody else finds out about it.
