  • "Dear Wendy Thanks so much for a wonderful place to stay in Newcastle. We were very impressed with the standard of accomodation offered, the amount of privacy available, and the peaceful location. It was great to have our own key to our own part of the house, and to feel we weren't in each other's way at all. Yet you were there if needed, with great suggestions for places to eat etc. Having our own sittingroom and verandah was a huge plus as well. Plenty of room to spread ourselves out! We will definitely be ringing you next time we come to Newcastle, and will recommend "Serendipity" to all of our friends. "

  • "Both my wife & I had a very relaxing time. The house is situated in a very peaceful neighbourhood. We truly enjoyed our whole weekend. The bed is very comfortable & the rest of the place has a cosy feel about it. To top of the weekend, we were extremely impressed by the friendliness of the Novacastrians. Finally, the eateries were fantastic & the weather on our weekend was great."

You have three rooms- lounge, bedroom, bathroom and an enclosed veranda.Just a short walk to to the beach, Darby St and the Junction.The owner Wendy is extremely friendly, helpful and most welcoming.This is the best B and B we have stayed in! Not only was the property beautiful and the space comfortable and spacious but the proximity to everything was great. The food provided for breakfast and a cup of tea was generous and really nice as we were rained in for the weekend. We'll be back."
