The Cottage at Eagles Range is the perfect base for your snow or mountain holiday.
The cottage is located at Eagles Range, an easy 10 minutes from Jindabyne. Elevated at 1,200 meters above sea level, we frequently enjoy snow over the winter months, although good roads mean that access is never a problem.
The Cottage has a welcoming, open plan living area with a lounge, dining area and kitchen, all centered around a slow combustion fireplace. Everything is freshly painted and the wood lined walls, french doors, new carpet and slate tiles create a comfortable environment in which to relax after a full day of skiing, fishing, cycling or walking.
Upstairs there are three comfortable bedrooms with vaulted ceilings along with the bathroom. There are two double rooms (beds can be configured as doubles or singles to suit your requirments) and one extra large room that sleeps four (again, configured to suit your requirements).
Outside, the verandah is set behind a pretty garden and the large spa is located directly adjacent to the cottage, very convenient for relaxing tired muscles while admiring the sunset or our amazing stars. The cottage backs onto open fields and pine trees where you will see kangaroos, wallabies, horses and deer, not to mention the wedgetail eagles for which the Range is named.
All linen (sheets, towels and dressing gowns) are included in your rental. The cottage is well appointed with a large flat screen TV downstairs with game console/DVD player, plus a second TV and DVD player in the large bedroom upstairs. A large number of DVDs and games are available to borrow and the cottage contains a variety of books in case you find time to read.
The kitchen has the normal inclusions including microwave and in addition to the slow combustion fireplace, there is a gas heater for instant heat.
Laundy facilities, and a drying room are located in the building adjacent to the cottage, a 20m walk away. An additional bathroom is also available here for large groups.
The Snowy Mountains are not just a great winter destination. Summer in the mountains offers the opportunity to indulge in a wide variety of outdoor pursuits including trout fishing, bushwalking, cycling, fly fishing, mountain biking, water skiing, sailing, canoeing or just relaxing with a good book and a glass of wine while you watch the sun go down.
