Three Hut Point

Description

This supurb 4 bedroom holiday house is set on 1 acre of park like property which steps onto the foreshore of the beautiful D'Entrecasteaux channel. It has magnificent views of the sheltered bay the property dwells upon and is just a 45 minute drive south of hobart.
There is a large grassed picnic area which can be used to launch your own kayak, canoe or small boat. These can be used to paddle around the sheltered waters or for trying your luck at fishing with the area being popular for flathead. There is also a nearby boat ramp.
For those who prefer land there is plenty of room for kicking the footy, a game of cricket or just a pleasant stroll around the garden.
If you love your wildlife there are regular sitings of dolphins, swans, opposums and wallabies.

About the House

The house sleeps 8 persons in four bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has queen sized bed with ensuite, bedroom 2 has queen sized bed bedroom 3 has 2 king sized single beds which can be joined together and bedroom 4 has a blackwood double bed with blackwood furniture.
There are 2 bathrooms. the ensuite in bedroom 1 and another next to bedrooms 2 and 3.
The kitchen is well equiped for preparing your own meals and has a separate dinning area
There are 2 living areas one with TV and DVD
There is also a large outdoor decking which overlooks the D'Entrecasteaux Channel giving brilliant views.
There is also a large off street carpark.

Around the Area

Gordon is generally a quiet place 55 km south of Hobart in the D'Entrecasteaux Channel.
It is a popular fishing and scuba diving spot for local fisher persons.
Nearby there is The Bruny Island ferry, a number of Wineries, Grandview Cheesery, Fleurty's Cafe, Peppermint Bay Restaurant and Tru Blu Blueberry Farm , all within half hours drive.
A bit further a field is Hastings Cave, Tahune Airwalk, The Wooden Boat Centre and a number of rivers from which to try flyfishing from.
The quiet roads are also great to cycle around.
