Take some time to breathe in the tranquility of this valley with its magnificent views and abundance of native flora and fauna that is mirrored in the Watagan Ranges stretching out before you.

Spacious & Versatile Living

This 4 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom farm house is fantastic for larger groups. Let's face it, it is not always easy to find accommodation for groups of 10 or 11! However, it is equally as pleasing to a couple and smaller groups. Quickly and easily the house can become a 1, 2 or 3 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom home or any other combination needed for your circumstances and budget.
This incredible home has a large living area downstairs with a sandstone fireplace built in the Convict Style by a local master stone mason. A large flat screen TV, Foxtel and DVD player and audio system are all provided. Reverse cycle, ducted air conditioning ensures your comfort is always cared for and all rooms have ceiling fans.

The retreat

This second living room located up stairs is the ideal escape for those few precious minutes of peace and reflection. Offering some of the best views over the property and Valley through the panoramic window, here you will find a TV, DVD and a great escape. The deck which overlooks the gully behind the homestead, is ideal for an early morning coffee or to watch the sunset with a fine glass of Hunter Valley wine.

Bedroom 1 'The Master'

The master is upstairs and features a king size bed with high quality linen, walk in robe and flat screen LCD TV. The slider window opens onto a viewing deck with elevated views over the property. The en-suite has underfloor heating, shower, bath with views, wc and a double vanity.

Bedroom 2 'The Guest Room'

Is located downstairs and features a queen size bed, built in robe and a flat screen LCD TV. The ensuite has a shower, wc and vanity and heating.

Bedroom 3 'Heavenly'

Located up stairs and features queen size bed with large windows for spending a romantic evening laying in bed and gazing at the stars.

Bedroom 4 'The Combo'

Located upstairs featuring a double bed and a single bed as well as a flat screen LCD TV with built in DVD player. Ideal for the kids or for the singles in your party.

The Nursery
Our most treasured of guests have their very own room! With cot and change table, comfy chair for mum to feed or read a bed time story, baby monitor, basket of toys and views of the valley all located just off the main lounge so you are never too far away from your little one. There is also a travel-cot for babe number 2 or for use elsewhere within the home.

Additional guests
We also have a double sofa bed located in our down stairs sitting room that can be utilised on request. Conveniently located next to the bathroom.

Separate bathroom

A bathroom is located down stairs and offers a vanity, shower, bath and wc and heating. This best services those rooms that do not offer an en-suite. There is also a wc located close to the main living areas for the convenience of our guests.
All bathrooms are equipped with towels, hair dryers and a full range of Australian made toiletries that are environmentally friendly. When utilising the spa and pool we suggest guests bring along their own beach towels for convenience.

Kitchen

Equipped to the highest standards and includes gas, fan forced oven, gas cook top with range, microwave, dishwasher, large fridge/ freezer with filtered water, larder and a breakfast bar and island bench. Stocked with all kitchenware including a slow cook pot and a range of premium cookwear, glasswear and crockery. Basic pantry needs are provided along with children’s cutlery and tableware. A land line is also available here for all incoming and essential out-going calls.

Games Room

Enjoy a game of Pool or Snooker! Located in the cellar, the ideal place to have some fun and a few laughs without disturbing those relaxing indoors.

Outdoor entertaining

Enjoy a BBQ with friends. Take full advantage of the sun or shade, dependant on time of day and year on the expansive deck. Enjoy the panoramic views and take in the breathtaking beauty and majesty of the Congewai Valley. Catch up on some rest and relaxation on the day bed or hammock on the back deck or kick back by the lap pool. The pool is solar heated only and is ideal for those early morning laps. At days end relax in the spa and soak away your cares under the blanket of stars provided by the endless night sky and watch the moon rising and its reflection in the swan dam.
