Blue Wren Lodge is just lovely. Full of everything you could possibly need for a peaceful weekend away in Halls Gap, it's far enough from the main street that it's always quiet, but close enough to walk to everything. We loved the local wildlife, who liked to snooze in the sun in the back yard!

We stayed for 2 nights on our way home from Melbourne to Adelaide but will definitely be back for a longer stay. The Blue Wren Lodge is a perfect couples getaway. An easy walk to Halls Gap and a great base for all the Grampians walks. Peter and Kerryn go the extra mile to make your stay special with many extra touches and the Grampians Estate wine is exceptional. When we arrived there were kangaroo, deer and a variety of bird life to greet us. A great place to relax, unwind and go for long walks - bliss

We stayed at the Blue Wren lodge over the Labour day weekend and absolutely loved it!
The lodge itself was spotless and cosy and the wildlife surrounding us was amazing.
The complimentary breakfast basket and wine was so thoughtful and convenient!
The owner, Peter, was so helpful and kind and we would definitely stay here again.

Excellent accommodation - the owners have thought of everything. Plentiful supply of logs most welcome on the cold nights! Abundant wildlife visiting the garden was also a great treat. Thanks Peter & Kerryn for a great stay in a home away from home. Will be back!

We had a very pleasant stay at the property recently. It is a good quiet location but still easy walking distance to town centre. The accomodation is comfortable & well equipped - the open fire being the stand out.

the blue wren is a hidden gem. perfect for two.the house is well appointed.super quiet area.huge spa/shower.im 6"5 and stood straight under !! wood heater really cracks, also split system as well.the blue wren is easy to find but cant be seen, and is under 10 min to central halls gap by foot.we walked to restaurant in 5 min.it is well stocked, tea, coffee(brew) etc.even tom, wooshy and soy sauce. its all there. pack your bags, some tucker and a few beers(dont forget your better half) and go.if you cant relax and unwind here, you need a dr.fast!!WE WILL BE BACK, FOR LONGER NEXT TIME.THERES A LOT TO CHOOSE FROM IN THE GRAMPS,BUT THIS IS HARD TO BEAT
