If you dont feel like cooking, you can always walk across to Wye Rivers renowned Rookery Nook Hotel with its magnificent menu and views, featured on TVs Getaway program. NEW! "The General"Try FAT COW(open in summer), Wyes new cafe for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The local General Store also has the essentials - all you need is here! Lorne is 15 minutes away and Apollo Bay is 20 minutes the other way.
28 Durimbil Ave. Just 200 metres to the beach (5 minutes) or take the picturesque Paddys Path (10 minutes).

We loved the main dining room, the deck and the living room. I will always have the image in my mind of the Wye River Point seen through the trees from the huge corner window in the living room. The green of the trees, the blue of the water and the white crests of the waves hitting the rocks. At night it was lovely to look down on the town lights.
We were also pleased that the location of Totties was not on the pub side of Wye River where you are facing the rising sun. For us (with young kids) this meant we were not up at the crack of dawn and the house was not in full sun all day.

We had a very good time while we were in there, thoroughly enjoying ourselves. And like you said, I wish we could spend more time there. It is just amazing, sitting on the deck, listening to the crashing waves and sipping some botrytis.
We have an extremely enjoyable night there, and I am looking forward to spending more time in your place on my next trip.

I have just arrived back in London. It is difficult to believe that I was on a beach in the sunshine so recently. I definitely enjoyed my time at Totties Place, and hope to visit again at some stage in the future.
It was certainly much more comfortable than when I first visited Wye River over 20 years ago and was staying in the camping ground!

We absolutely loved the view and the birds. Availability of DVDs and Playstation etc for the kids was great.
The amazing achitecture of the house really suits the situation.
