Each cottages in the Clare Valley Accommodation group offers quality accommodation, all have at least one king bed, all with queen and single beds as well.
All have well equipped kitchens, heating & cooling, beds have electric blankets, each cottage has a log burning fire.
Tickles ( 2 bedrooms)& Peppertree ( 3 bedrooms) are 2 kms south of Historic Mintaro and are within walking distance of Martindale Hall, Mintaro Maze, The Magpie & Stump Hotel, the township of Mintaro, Reilly's winery and Mintaro Cellars.
The Beehive is in Mintaro, a 4 bedroom ( also has a billiard table and spacious enclosed yard, a pet is welcome) The cottage suite families & groups. (modest tariff) .
Aabys is on the Riesling Trail in Clare is set in an acre of rural land and has 4 bedrooms.
All have BBQs and lots of room for outdoor dining.
These properties are all part of the privately owned and operated South Australian City Coast & Country Group which has accommodation in Adelaide and on the Fleurieu Peninsula .
Clean, comfortable, well appointed, affordable accommodation, all linen is supplied. The tariff includes a supply bacon & eggs, juice & bread etc for breakfast.
The Clare valley is renowned for its wonderful wineries, the Riesling Trail, a walking/cycling trail which winds its way from the township of Clare in the North to Auburn in the south, a distance of 27 kms, astrong sense of history, great scenery and attractions.
Accompanying the good wine ofcourse are teriffic lunch rooms & restaurants, art galleries and antique shops.
Heritage towns and friendly country pubs complete with billiard tables and jute boxes still flourish.
The Clare Valley is a pleasant 1 and 1/2 hours meander north on Adelaide, and is on the well worn path to the Flinders ranges.
Cycling & walking are well catered for with our famous Riesling Trail. Cycle hire canbe arranged.
Most wineries are open to the public, and it is here at the tiny wineries you will get the chance to meet the wine maker at cellar door.
The valley is host to a myriad of fabulous "eateries" dotted about in vineyards, on top of hills giving you teriffic views, adjacent cellar doors and in country pubs and restaurants all using local & regional fare.
We also have antique shops & galleries for the avid collectors, heritage abounds, both Burra & Mintaro are heritage towns and proudly show off local slate & stone to its best advantage.
We have wine tours available and well documented walks available.
