Many of our guests visit the Koorana Crocodile Farm, just a half hour drive from the motel in Koorana. There are guided tours, a chance to hold a trained crocodile, and from March to May visitors can see baby crocodiles hatching. Their restaurant serves crocodile meat as well as more traditional fare, and and crocodile skin wallets, belts and clothing are for sale.
Another popular tourist destination is the Capricorn Caves, a unique above-ground cave system set in a limestone ridge located 15km north of the True Blue Motor Inn. Visitors can take guided tours through the large well-lit caverns to see the beautiful decorations and experience the natural acustics of Cathedral Cave.
The Rockhampton Heritage Village is located on 18 hectares of native bushland, just past the Yeppoon exit on the Bruce Highway. This unique museum offers insight into the the colourful history of the area with its recreation of original buildings, homesteads and businesses from the period between .
