  • "We were overwhelmed by the welcoming provisions & little gifts and the comfortable homely feel of this exceptionally well equiped holiday home. We enjoyed a very relaxing week in the N/W of Tasmania based at 'Fossil Bluff Cottage' & hope to return. James & Bronwyn have certainly raised the bar. Ian, Elke & Emily from BAROOGA, NSW "

  • "Oh what a surprise and what a delightful 2 night stay at Fossil Blue Cottage. Bronwyn and James are great hosts and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Firstly when we arrived they had set up the lounge room to celebrate my father's 86th birthday. What a wonderful thought and really appreciated and made our stop at Fossil Blue Cottage something we will never forget. There were so many little touches that made this a memorable stay from the breakfast basket, fruit tray and the little presents. More than expected. The cottage has everything in it that you might require whether it is a short or long stay. Congradulations on a really great place to stay at and I would highly recommend Fossil Blue cottage to anyone wishing a delightful and homely place to stay in while visiting Tasmania."

  • "The Fossil Cottage was a delight to stay at, the hamper and little gifts made us feel very spoilt. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone who finds themselves at Wynyard you would not find better accommadation any where we loved it. If in the area I would definitely stay again. Thank you Brownyn and James. Nellie Ron & Margaret "

  • "We (family of 4) have had 2 separate stays at this wonderful little gem of a cottage. The generosity showed by the owners is so "not the norm for this day and age" - it is a truly delightful place. The breakfast provisions are wonderful and plentiful and the little gifts on arrival bring on excited shrieks from both our daughters, who adore the place. Terrific for bike riding and kayaking and for lovely walks, the area around Fossil Bluff is quiet and very pretty. It is a great base to explore the NW Coast of Tassie. Very highly recommended. Do yourself a favour and book in. We will most definitely be going back. Denise Phillips and family. "

Enjoying the warmest hospitality & the remarkable scenic views were one of the highlights in our 2-weeks long Tasmania vacation. We love the place & people here. We'll definitely share our good experience here with our friends & recommend the lovely cottage to them."

  • "Stayed at Fossil Bluff Cottage as a central point for touring the North West. Had never heard of Fossil Bluff but found this cottage to be a restful haven after long days of sightseeing and so close to the beach. The owners had left thoughtful touches as well as a beautiful hamper. Plenty of tourist brochures to assist with getting the most out of the area and Tasmania. Highly recommended and would definitely return."
