Explore Orford and its many attractions. Ask your hosts about accessing local seafood. Theres a golf course, fishing, boating, close safe swimming beaches, local vineyards and bushwalk along the many walking tracks. There's a hotel, restaurant, supermarket, Post Office and cafe - all within easy walking distance.
Visit the beautiful Maria Island National Park. Pack a picnic and enjoy a day exploring historic Darlington, climb Mt Bishop & Clerk or Mt Maria. Its the perfect destination if you enjoy waling within pristine nature.
Make it your base whilst exploring the sunny East Coast and other Tasmanian attractions. Go north and visit Swansea, Coles Bay, Bicheno, Freycinet National Park and a host of wineries along the way. To the south visit Port Arthur via the Wielangta Forest and historic Richmond is only 50 mins away.
Finally it's the perfect location to unwind and relax and what better way to complete your day than a final walk along the beach before you return to enjoy a glass of wine and be mesmerised by the moon rise over Maria.
