With its own distinctive and comfortable style, Logan's Retreat is a spacious 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom retreat offering guests total rest and relaxation. With the use of our double sofa bed in the up-stairs retreat Logan's Retreat is extended to comfortably accommodate 11.
On the covered, rear deck is our large outdoor setting and BBQ for a relaxed, evening meal overlooking the in-ground pool and tyre swing. To one side is an open, manicured lawn perfect for afternoon cricket or bocce.
In winter, it is too hard to pass up a lazy afternoon in front of the open fireplace with a glass of shiraz and some cruisy tunes drifting from your i-Pod on one of the 2 docks in house.
The kids (big and small) can entertain themselves in bedroom 4, otherwise known as The Clubhouse. With Playstation 2, Foxtel, double bunks and a bathroom conveniently place just outside the door, the children will be more than happy to look after themselves!

An easy 2-hour drive from Sydney, 45 minutes from Newcastle and at the heart of the Hunter Valley, Logan's Retreat is located on the outskirts of the village of Nulkaba. Centrally located just 5 minutes drive from Pokolbin, 5 minutes from Lovedale and 5 minutes from the Cessnock CBD. Logan's Retreat offers an outstanding option for your Getaway in the Hunter.
The property is situated on one and half acres of manicured lawns in a cul-de-sac, where you can overlook the Australian bush and breathe in the fragrant scents of the orange and lemon trees. The level, grassy grounds at Logan's Retreat make it perfect for outdoor barbecues, backyard cricket or simply chilling out over a glass of wine or two!

THINGS TO DO
Its central location means Logan's Retreat provides the perfect base from which to explore all that the Hunter Valley has to offer. She is also just a short drive (or carriage ride) from the popular wedding venue, St Patrick's of Nulkaba.
Enjoy Australia's oldest wine region by visiting one of the 120 cellar doors in the area. Sample wines from some of the historic, family vineyards like McGuigan's and Tyrrell's or sample something new from one of the innovative, boutique wineries like Piggs Peake or Peterson's Family Wines. If you prefer a pint over a Semillon, visit the Potter's Brewery which is less than a kilometre away. But the boys don't get all the fun at the Brewery. Girls, there is also a day spa there!
The Hunter Valley also has some of the finest culinary destinations in Australia, offering something for everyone.
