Onda: Beach House, is the front Pavilion of a two pavilion luxury tropical resort style executive home, close to Reef and mountain - 400m to Palm Cove Shops & Restaurants. Onda Beach House suits couples. Families or extended families are suited to Pavilion 2 which sleeps up to 8, different pricing applies to use of the whole property. To ensure your privacy and tranquillity, Onda is let to only one couple / group at a time.

Pavilion 1 has a queen size cane sleigh bed, a huge ensuite with spa, shower and a private outdoor tropical shower, a kitchen with a plug in hotplate, D/W M/wave, sink bar fridge and washer dryer, lounge with TV DVD player and Stereo WiFi broadband and Printer, a Nesspresso Coffee system and a dining area, multifold doors to all rooms open onto decks.

Pavilion 2 is a two bedroom self contained house whose main bedroom has a king size cane sleigh bed, cane lounge ensuite and two balconies one sun drenched facing the beach, the other facing the mountain and rainforest trees. The second bedroom has 2 king singles which can form a king size bed and two lounges that each fold into single beds. Downstairs there are lounges, a 46cm LCD TV with DVD player and Stereo WiFi broadband, - all the latest appliances and equipment, full kitchen, dining, piano, study and chill out areas.

A fully tiled saltwater pool 4 x 6m (with feature luminous tiles) nestles aside the 16 x 5m interconnecting timber deck featuring North Queensland's most artistic outdoor kitchen: handcrafted wrought iron art and local artist ceramics adorn the BBQ bench and wall that doubles as breakfast bar, next to the Stainless steel BBQ and sink. The deck has sun lounges a large umbrella near Pavilion1 and and a huge sail over the other end.

All of Onda, Pavilions 1 & 2, the decks and the Pool are 860mm above the ground to provide breeze and views. The driveway has two car spaces, but you do not need a car because everything is within easy walking distance.

A raised platform of breezeways, timber, glass and decking. Tropical and authentic, but family friendly. Ultra modern green beach house meets Colonial tradition. Onda is a magnificent luxurious residence, architect designed built by an award winning builder and professionally landscaped and maintained with tropical plants.

Tropical Far North Queensland

We are three and half hours door to door from Sydney to Clifton Beach, 25 minutes from the International Airport at Cairns to the best of the Northern Beaches. Beachfront reserve 7m from door to sand, 12m to the water. From our front deck you drink in the best views in Palm Cove: Scout Hat and Double Islands. Between you and the beach is a lone giant Melaleucca (one of the features of the area) and some Palm trees.

Gaze at the mountain view on the rear deck, stroll through the fully open back pavilion along the 16 metre deck, through the front pavilion to the front deck for a view of the Islands and the water. After drinks on the front deck and slipping into the privacy of your own pool off the central deck, have a tropical evening BBQ on the SSteel BBQ, North Queenslands most artistic outdoor kitchen. Dine on the deck, alfresco under the huge shade sail.

Turn all the lights out and take a late night dip in the pool to fully appreciate the luminous feature tiles.

There are fans and air-conditioning, but you wont need them, the sea breeze cools you and takes away any humidity.

In the morning enjoy a coffee with our Nesspresso De Longhi coffee machine, if you are lucky you might see the dolphins playing beyond the waves from the beach, if you are really lucky in March you might see a croc!

Its tropical, its very quiet, discreet and secluded and its luxurious. But, its everything Far North Queensland: Beautiful sand, no surf, never ever cooler than 24C even in the dead of winter! Crocodiles, box jellyfish, coral reefs, lush tropics, sun and water.

Activities

Walk 400m up the beach or along the concrete path, to bustling Palm Cove: international resorts for shopping and restaurants. A 10 minute walk around the corner takes you to Clifton Beach shopping mall with a large Coles, fresh food, butcher, doctor, chemist and several restaurants, dine in and take away.

Reef tours leave from the Pier at Palm Cove.

Nearby dining is found at Clifton Bar & Grill at 14 Clifton Road or 59 Restaurant & Bar in Clifton Beach with Sensational panoramic views overlooking the 9th and 18th greens at Paradise Palms Gold Course International standard golf course rated 10th in Australia with an A la Carte, Restaurant, and closer still the Cairns Zoo and night Zoo.

Thirty Five Minutes north on the Highway is Port Douglas. or drive 10 minutes south to Tjapukai, Skyrail or Go Carting. Ten minutes further to Freshwater you can take the Scenic Rwy to Kuranda, or continue down to Cairns for shopping and the night markets.

Pav 1: (Couple only) $180 p/n. Pav 2 (4 adults or 2 A + 2kids) $320 p/n. Both Pavs $3,300 per week. Includes all linen and beach towels. Wine on arrival all necessaries provided.
