Guest Facilities
Harbour Lights has three bedrooms and is able to accommodate up to 6 guests very comfortably.
Bedding configuration includes one King and two Queen beds. Quality linen is provided for your stay. All bedrooms are airconditioned and feature LCD TV's and DVD players.
Harbour Lights also features a fully equipped kitchen, including oven, fridge, dishwasher and microwave.
Harbour Lights has a large balcony which has expansive views of the Darwin Harbour and new Convention Centre. With a BBQ close at hand, it is easy to sit and enjoy the Darwin Harbour Lights.
The lounge features quality furniture and LCD TV with Austar.
Harbour Lights also features a fully equipped laundry and 2 bathrooms.
Things to Do and Booking Conditions
There is much to do when you stay at Harbour Lights. The Darwin Convention Centre and wave pool is at your door step.
Harbour lights is also a short stroll to the Darwin CBD, which features many restaurants, cafes, shopping and the Mitchell Street bar strip close at hand.
For a Territory Adventure, Litchfield is an hours drive and an easy day trip. Kakadu is an hour and a half away.
Darwin has a vibrant multicultural community, with excellent markets at Mindil Beach (Thursday and Sunday evnings in the dry season) and Parap (Every Saturday morning). There are many quality art galleries which feature local contemporary and indigenous art.

Terms and Conditions
Your reservation
To confirm your reservation, we require a 50% deposit to be made. The balance is due on the day of your departure.
Cancellations
We understand that circumstances may arise where you need to cancel your reservation. As our properties at More Than a Room cater for a small number of guests at any one time, the following cancellation fees will apply.
If you are able to inform us of your cancellation with more than thirty (30) days notice, your deposit will be refunded less a $50.00 accounting fee.
If notice is provided between thirty (30) days and not less than fifteen (15) days, 25% of the deposit* will be retained.
If notice is provided between fourteen (14) days and not less than seven (7) days, 50% of the deposit* will be retained.
If cancellation notice is provided less than seven (7) days and up to one (1) day prior to the agreed check in date, 100% of the deposit* will be retained.
No cancellations will be accepted on the day of arrival or after check in. Guests will be liable for, and agree to being charged, 100% of the full agreed tariff of the total reserved stay under all circumstances.
Please Note : * = The deposit is 50% of the agreed full tariff of the stay booked by the client.
The assigned date which calculates the notice period is specific to notification prior to 4.00pm Central Standard Time of any day, after which the following day will be the assigned date.
Notification must be in writing either by facsimile or email and confirmed delivery is the responsibility of the Guest.
Check in
We will meet you at the property at the mutually agreed time. Normal check in is from 3:00pm.
Late Check in
As many flights into Darwin arrive close to, or after midnight, we will provide you with a four digit pin code to allow you access the property. We will telephone you late morning of the next day to ensure you have settled in.
Keys
Access to the property is via a four digit pin code which we will provide you with on check in.
Security Deposit
Upon check in, a $500 credit card pre-authorisation will be required. This will be held by management for the duration of your stay and until the property is cleaned and inspected. The guest(s) authorises More Than a Room management to pay or reimburse itself or the owner of the property, by debiting the credit card provided for any costs or expenses, damages, breakage or other loss applicable to or arising out of the use and occupation of the property in accordance with this reservation. This is including, but not limited to hire and cleaning charges, repair and/or reinstatement of the property, or any costs incurred with or by More Than a Room management, police, fire or other emergency personnel which remain unpaid.
If there is insufficient credit on the credit card provided to pay or reimburse the whole of the costs or expenses to More Than a Room management or the owner of the property, the guest(s) acknowledge their joint and several liability to pay or reimburse More Than a Room management or the owner of the property for any outstanding costs or expenses.
The Property
Harbour Lights is to be used strictly as residential premises by the guest(s) and the number of guests nominated on the confirmation/registration form and not for any other purpose or by any greater number of occupants with the permission of More Than a Room management or the owner of the property. The use of the properties for functions, parties or other such gatherings is strictly prohibited. The use of the properties for any such events other than as a residential premises will result in termination of your reservation of the property, your removal from the property and other costs or expenses, including a function fee of $1000 being debited from the credit card(s) provided.
Termination
If your reservation of the property is terminated, More Than a Room management or the owner of the property is authorised to do all things necessary to remove you from the property, at your cost. If your reservation of the property is terminated and you are removed from the property, the tariff applicable to the balance of your reservation will be forfeited to More Than a Room management or the owner of the property. There will be no refund of the tariff.
Liability
The guest(s) is responsible for and liable to reimburse More Than a Room management or the owner of the property in respect of any property damage, breakage or chattels, fixtures or fittings in the property or any other loss suffered by More Than a Room management or the owner of the property as a consequence of the use or occupation of the property during this reservation. Neither More Than a Room management nor the owner of the property is liable for any damage to or loss of property of or injury to, a guest, visitor or entrant to the property.
Cleaning and Linen
All linen and towelling is provided in the property and serviced midway for stays of more than eight (8) plus nights. If additional housekeeping is required, this can be provided for an extra fee. The property is strictly non-smoking inside the house. Ashtrays are provided for smoking outside the property. The property must be left in a reasonable clean and tidy state when you check out. Additional charges will be incurred if extra cleaning of the property is required. The cost to clean, repair damage or reinstate the property to its original condition, will be debited to the credit card(s) provided.
Car Parking
Harbour Lights has two undercover secure designated car parks within the property. Guest parking is also available at the front of the building.
Animals and Birds
No animal or bird may be brought to Harbour Lights. Domesticated dogs and cats are allowed, however, this condition does not apply to guest(s) that are sight impaired with seeing-eye dogs.
Governing Law
The Law of the Northern Territory governs your use and occupation of the Property during your reservation. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the Northern Territory.
