Come and enjoy the best the Bellingen region has to offer, using this renovated 100 yr old 'quirky' beach house as your base. Great for either a romantic weekend away, a family holiday or a holiday with your friends.
The location of this home has the best of both worlds, you are less than 10 minutes to the centre of Bellingen with it's shopping, arts, music and markets and a 2 min walk to the local shops and bay - with a further 5min boardwalk to Hungry Head beach.
The house was featured as a home make-over in the January 2010 edition of Real Living Magazine.
The layout of this house suits all and comfortably sleeps 6 people. This house has three double bedrooms two with queen size beds and one with two singles. It has a bathroom with a separate toilet. It has TV, DVD player, iPod dock, board games, CDs, books, full kitchen and laundry.
Doonas, blankets and pillows are provided. It has undercover parking, and a huge fenced level garden out the back with a sandpit for the kids. A great place to bring your bikes since hungry head beach is a flat 10 min bike ride away.
Feedback
Hi Emma and Susan,
Just wanted to drop you a note and tell you how much the family and I enjoyed our stay in your wonderfulcottage.
The kids were able to swim and fish every day which totally made their holiday while I was able to enjoy some much needed down time with my husband and children - something sorely missing from my everyday world. ( This holiday has also encouraged me to make some much needed changes BEFORE we make the move up there!)
We have renovated the house to reflect our own laid back attitude to life. simple, stylish and user friendly....we hope its both easy on the eyes and easy on the soul. We try to create eco- friendly houses. This means tank water for flushing toilets, watering the garden and the washing machine.
It means a solar hot water system and grid-connected solar power. It also means recycling all our garbage and compost.
This house is run on a 'community based system', which means we share our weekender with others when we're not using it ourselves. We ask that you bring your own sheets and towels to use. We also ask that you leave the house neat and tidy.
