Description

This aesthetic oasis is just far enough back from the cafes, restaurants and beaches to provide a calm environment but near enough to stroll in short minutes to each of them.

Polished floors, stainless steel kitchen, glass tiled bathroom and beautifully appointed features will ensure that you have a restful and enjoyable stay.

There is queen sized bed in each of the two bedrooms and there is plenty of space to spread out and relax in. You can enjoy the light filled, airy attic room or the cool, spacious downstairs back bedroom.

Internet access is provided at the property and included in the quoted tariff.

Close to all you need

Buses run from the end of the street that can take you all local attractions - city, Bondi Junction, Fox Studios.........

There is a lovely big high definition TV and DVD player to ensure that you can have the big movie or sport fixes that you need in crystal clear vision.

An important part of The Beach Retreat's appeal is its quiet and aesthetic setting so please don't book the property if you plan to have noisy social gatherings as these will mean the termination of booking.

There is an $80 cleaning fee to ensure that each new guest is greeted with a sparkling, fresh experience......

NB: port-a-cot and hi-chair available at no extra cost on request

  • "We really enjoyed our stay at the Beach Retreat. The apartment had everything we needed for our stay. It is a neat, light and airy place. The gas heating made the cool evenings very comfortable. Shops are within easy walking distance and it is a great base to venture out from. There is also plenty of parking nearby. One night the planes flew overhead but the noise wasn't enough to disturb us. The beds were comfortable and the neighbourhood is quiet. We slept soundly every night. Thanks Jeremy for offering a great place to stay in Sydney. "

  • "The Beach Retreat offers a perfect location for a visit to Sydney with a beautiful beach, outstanding coastal walks, several excellent cafes and restaurants, and bus transportation, all within walking distance. The bus service, literally minutes from the front door, provides easy access to major shopping centres, the central business district and connections to the rail and world class ferry systems. The accommodations are spacious and comfortable. Best of all, staying here gives a real feel of Sydney living. During our one month stay, the owner, Jeremy, was the perfect host ��� never intrusive, but there to help when needed. As very experienced world travellers (expat Aussies based in the U.S.) we highly recommend The Beach Retreat."

  • "I recently stayed at the Beach Retreat with my two children when we visited from San Diego. WOW! It was a fabulous place. It had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. We are Aussies living overseas and loved having our own amazing space when we were back in Australia. In fact, we stayed here twice during our time in Oz. The place was clean and nice and in such an amazing and quiet location. Only about a 5 minute walk to a fabulous park for the kids, the gorgeous Coogee Beach and wonderful coffee shops everywhere you turn. The owner was incredibly accommodating, helpful and friendly and we felt very welcome during our stay. It was a definite plus having a full laundry at our disposal so that we could actually return home with clean clothes! Loved cooking in the kitchen too. Great! Even though it was Winter - the place was not cold at all and we only turned on the gas heater to take the chill off the air a bit. Thank you!! We will definitely stay there again. PS... my daughter who is nine had this to say about the Beach Retreat: "it was a good space and the bed was very comfortable""

  • "Our family of four had a wonderful introduction to Sydney at the Beach Retreat. From our first sighting of the adorable frog statute playing the violin in the veranda, we knew that the place would be full of style and whimsy. The beds were super comfortable and our kids still talk about the "biggest towels" ever! We liked the residential feel of the Retreat because it made us pretend that we actually lived there, which was a nice fantasy to engage in. The host was very kind, understanding of unintentional damage inflicted on a table lamp by a clumsy three year old.
