Redlands Retreat is a lovely three bedroomed, fully furnished home set in the heart of the Redlands Shire. It offers a family and pet friendly home, with modern conveniences. The home combines privacy and independence with convenient access to Brisbane, The Gold Coast, Theme parks and the Bay Islands.

Redlands Retreat has a fabulous new games room! Enjoy a game of pool or air hockey, battle it out on the Xbox, or just enjoy playing on the computer.

Situated on a large block, the 3 bedroomed Queenslander style property overlooks bushland reserve with a local population of koalas and wallabies. The large gums trees in the garden often provide a good day's sleep for the koalas. Enjoy being woken up to the sound of the laughing kookaburras!

Redlands Retreat provides peace and nourishment amongst the tranquillity of nature, whilst being just a few minutes drive from the fabulous lifestyle shopping centre at Victoria Point where you can enjoy a variety of Restaurants, Cafes, Shops and Professional Services plus a State of the Art Nine Screen Cinema Complex. The calm waters of Moreton Bay are only 5 minutes walk away. So you can enjoy the best of both worlds.

The house is just two minutes walk from the direct buslink into the centre of Brisbane.

The house has 2 queen sized rooms and one twin room. An extra single bed can be provided in one of the queen sized rooms, upon request. All bed linen is supplied.

The Redlands Shire

Redlands Retreat is located at the end of a quiet cul-du-sac in the bayside suburb of Redland Bay. It is just 500m from the waters edge.

Redlands Retreat is only 40 minutes from Brisbane airport and 30 minutes from the Gold Coast theme parks. Situated at the southern end of the Redland Shire area, Redland Bay is the departure point for the Southern Bay Islands of Moreton Bay. Regular ferry and barge services depart from Redland Bay for Russell, Lamb, Macleay and Karragarra Islands.

Sport is a popular pastime in Redland Bay with a major golf course, tennis courts and a amateur fishing club located in the community. Walkers and cyclists are also catered for on the many tracks dotted throughout the area through parks and along the foreshore.

Enjoy wine tasting or an outdoor concert at the famous Sirromet winery which is just a short drive away.

The Redland Shire has the largest population of koalas residing in such close proximity to a capital city anywhere in Australia, so keep looking up and you are sure to find one!

The Redlands region is famous for its strawberries, with the annual ‘Spring Festival’ attracting visitors from near and far to celebrate and indulge in these delicious fruits. Enjoy a day out at the Big Strawberry in Thornlands.
