Beach View Cottage is situated in the heart of South Arm village and fronts directly onto South Arm Beach, a beautiful safe, sandy swimming beach approximately 3 kilometres long. Mt Wellington sets a dramatic back drop across the Derwent Estuary. Nearby [100m] is the South Arm Jetty where fishing is a regular pastime. There are wonderful walks, turn right out the gate along the sandy beach towards Opossum Bay, or turn left past the jetty and round the rocky outcrops towards the Iron Pot light house. The cottage has 2 bedrooms - master with queen bed, 2nd has large double with 2 single bunks above. Other facilities include separate wc, bathroom with shower and vanity, separate laundry with top loading w/machine, open plan lounge/dining area with fully equiped kitchen. Outdoor veranda and BBQ area with table and chairs enable you to enjoy the sunsets over Mt Wellington and the boats on the Derwent. South Arm General store is 150 metres away.
