Description
There are twelve self-contained cabins nestled in temperate rainforest on the 10 acre property which enjoys views of Cradle Mountain. Cradle Mountain Highlanders is two minutes drive from the entrance to Cradle Mountain National Park and 200 metres from the Cradle Information Centre and Shuttle Bus Terminal.
Rustic mountain cabins
Whether you are traveling with family or friends, on your honeymoon or just looking for a special place to escape and relax on a short break stay, there is a cabin here to suit you. The cabins are self-contained and self-catering, some built just for two, others sleeping up to six. Ten of the cabins have log fires, and three have spa baths, all are well-appointed and full of rustic mountain charm.
With wildlife at your doorstep, alpine rainforest all around and a rustic mountain cabin to call home, you will really feel close to nature when you make Cradle Mountain Highlanders your base for exploring the World Heritage listed Cradle Mountain Lake St Clair National Park.
Self-contained cabins
The cabins are all hand built in a traditional mountain style and feature lovely natural timbers inside and out. Each cabin has its own unique character, but they all have fully equipped kitchens, private decks or verandas, television, clock radio, electric blankets, hair dryers and pure Tasmanian mountain water on tap. Ten of the cabins have romantic log fires and three cabins have spa baths. Some of the cabins are built just for two; others can sleep up to six.

Pandani two storey cabin: one queen and two sets of bunks
Telopea spa cottage: one queen with a corner spa
Tallow-wood spa cottage: two queen beds with a corner spa
Snowgum luxury spa cottage; one queen with rectangular spa bath

Prices
Rates are for two people a night. All cabins are supplied with linen, towels, tea, coffee and milk, and are serviced daily. Infants under 2 are free. Minimum booking periods may apply during peak holiday periods. Additional charge: $30 per adult/20 per child
