Blenheim Beach House

"A beautiful house with an amazing view and location! Right in front of a beautiful bushland and beach with the lulling sound of the ocean always present - We adored it. The house itself easily supports 10 people with enough room to promote time spent together. A large lounge room with new TV always plays in favour :) Among the first things said upon arrival by all was 'How awesome is this dining table!' - A prominent and elegantly modest hardwood table in the middle of the dining room adjoining the kitchen. Easily seating us all for a meal - or even a sing along with some acoustic. The sleeping quarters were enjoyable to retire to, with the smell and sound of the ocean and hushing trees acting as a sleeping catalyst. The main bathroom is extremely spacious, and natural light flowing in adds to the charm. It was also extremely handy to have an extra bathroom. Even though not much time was spent in the kitchen - it was a pleasure to be in there whenever we had a chance to use it. The modern layout made it easy to work around and have more than one or two people helping out. Everything was there that we needed - what more could we want? The verandah - a place we shared our days' fortunes. Once again, easily seating all of us at the outdoor setting with plenty of room to sit in the shade under the roof, or sit around the front of it, listening to the ocean, enjoying the view and the sun on the skin. A nice party piece of the house as well was plenty of windows to allow the light to flow in and enjoy the natural atmosphere. There is nothing more annoying than being in a house that states it can support a certain amount of people without having the facilities to do so. This house is not the case! It has the room, facilities AND layout to support a large group, or be homely enough to house a small family. Also - my (and now everyone elses) favourite beach is located just a few paces away. We were all glad to have Greenfields Beach our neighbour for the stay :) We all loved it, and recommend it to everyone and anyone. The house itself was an extremely comfortable living headquarters, while the charm made it feel like a home for all of us!
