Blue Johanna Cottages offers luxurious, private accommodation specifically designed for couples at Johanna, just off the Great Ocean Road, in the heart of Victoria's beautiful Otway Ranges and close to the magnificent Johanna Beach.
We offer self-contained accommodation in our picturesque fairytale cottages and private bed and breakfast accommodation in our two in-house suites. The cottages are designed so that each of the two halves can't be seen from the other half. Both our in-house suites have private entrances and completely separate facilities.
Blue Johanna Cottages offers bed and breakfast accommodation with a difference. These well appointed, air-conditioned suites have no shared facilities, Although being under the same roof as the host's house, both suites have private entrances from a guest verandah, seperate ensuite bathrooms and their own lounge areas.
The suites are surrounded by spacious lawns and sheltered cottage gardens that attract lots of native birdlife.
Both suites feature a queen-sized bed with quality linen, ensuite bathrooms with towels, television, and video equipment, CD player with iPod/iPhone dock with charger, breakfast-making facilities including microwave, toaster, kettle, sandwich press, bar fridge and coffee plunger. There is also a 'shared' gas barbecue on the guest verandah. We also provide delicious freshly baked bread daily, a selection of Twinings teas, soap. shampoo, fresh flowers and candles.
The JOHANNA SUITE is open plan, offering lots of natrural light. It offers views across the garden to the ocean and Cape Otway.
The OTWAY SPA SUITE features a breakfast/dining room that is separate from the bedroom and an ensuite with a large corner spa. The suite offers views into the garden.
Dogs are more than welcome in all our accommodation with the self-contained cottages having their own secure courtyards with kennel and feeding bowls.
Blue Johanna Cottages is nestled within 12 acres (4.8 hectares of fern gullies and cottage gardens attracting a variety of native birds...the ideal spot to complete relaxation.
Spectacular Johanna Beach is just down the road, perfect for an evening walk with the dog, surfing, a spot of surf fishing or exploring the rock pools at low tide. Our location means that many attractions, such as the Twelve Apostles, the Otway Treetop Adventure, the Cape Otway Lightstation and the numerous waterfalls and delights of the dence rainforests of the Otway Ranges are all only a short drive away. Ther is also a range of choiuces in the restaurants and cafes of the nearby townships of Beech Forest and Lavers Hill.
Pets are Very Welcome
Well behaved dogs, if housetrained and clean, are more the welcome to stay and sleep inside all our accommodation when their owners are present. Our self-contained cottages have their own private secure paved courtyard for dogs when their owners are away and our bed and breakfast suites have leash anchor points on the guest verandah.
