Description
An uncomplicated well styled and appointed beach shack amongst a neat complex-with modern facilities, comprising a pool and outdoor bbq setting, all 1 minute walk away from the beautiful Casuarina Beach. Our shack is nestled in the complex and is surprisingly private.
The shack is suitable for couples or couples with 1-2 children with the spare room having a double bed with a single bunk above. The main bedroom is situated atop the lounge room mezzine style. T.V upstairs and down with DVD. Aircon, oven, dishwasher and standard appliances available. Also port a cot equipped, and a high chair.
Casuarina beach is 1 minute walk away, which stretches for miles either side. You can take a stroll along the beach or head for breakfast at the sandbar (3 min walk), or walk down to Cabarita, if feeling energetic and spot the wallabies and rabbits.
Casuarina is relatively isolated, uncomplicated spot, as it is on a strip of land that fronts onto the beach one side and a national park on the other. If your after peace and quiet, with limited people around, this is ideal. It is situated 20 mins drive from Gold Coast Airport, 1hr 20 minutes from Brisbane or 35 minutes from Byron Bay and 40 minutes from Dreamworld etc.
There is also free access to the Domain Recreation Club that boasts tennis courts for hire, a gym and 25m pool, all a 5 minute walk away. You can also hire bikes and ride the superb path all the way up the beach and into Kingscliff. This complex also has a restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and mini store for your local needs or take away fish and chips.
Kingscliff is a 5 minute drive away [Woolworths and surf wear shopping], as is Salt with its wide variety of restaurants serving great seafood platters and the Golden Door Day Spa for a bit of pampering.
Don't expect the glitz and glamour of the Gold Coast.
