The accomodation is affordable (from $90 a night), self-contained and you have the place to yourself to wander or relax at your leisure. Bunyah is 13 kilometres from the highway but a hundred miles from care. The closest shop and petrol is at Coolongolook, a 12 minute drive away.
Once at Arcadia you can truly relax. You can spend all day on the wide sunny verandah watching the cows graze or catching up on some reading if you wish. Or you can wander down to the creek boundary and take your dog for a dip spotting roos and wildlife along the way.
The scenery is undulating and picturesque with your closest neighbours off in the distance. The home is accessed easily from the road, you only have to open one front gate.
There are many local attractions a short drive away.
Bunyah is approximately halfway between Forster and Gloucester so you can go coastal or country, both take between 35 and 40 minutes to reach. It takes about 3 hours from Hornsby or 30 minutes from Bulahdelah to reach the farm.
The accomodation is basic but comfortable. Pets are allowed inside, they even have their own beanbags. There are three bedrooms, two with queen size beds and a third with two single beds. There is a spare mattress and you are welcome to bring extra bedding.
The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a CD player, television and videos/games/books provided. If desired you can build a BarBQ on the front lawn, there is a large hotplate and plenty of firewood.
The farm has plenty of tank water so showers are not restricted.
The local tennis court is 1km away.

Arcadia is situated on a good scenic road (partially dirt) between the main coastal highway and Gloucester. There are lovely shops and cafes and an art gallery to visit in picturesque Gloucester.
Coolongolook is 13 kilometres away and is the closest place for basic groceries, petrol, the paper and a bite to eat. There is a roadhouse which is open all night. There is also a boat ramp there to launch boats into the Coolongolook river which then runs to the Forster lakes.
Krambach is 17 kilometres away on the back road. There is a quaint pub, a golf course and a couple of restaurants. It is a pretty, scenic village. The pub does lunches on some days and the view off the back deck is very relaxing.
Nabiac is the closest town, a 20 minute drive away and well worth a visit. There is a very good hotel which serves lovely evening meals, a number of cafes and restaurants, a motorcycle museum and a range of shops. Continue on to coastal beaches and the Forster/Tuncurry area for many more activities.
There are a number of forests and forest drives and walks nearby including the Wooton area and the tallest tree in NSW.
You can go winetasting at a couple of local wineries which you can reach within 20-25 minutes.
There are maps and more ideas and photos in the farmhouse should you wish to spend a few day
