Description
Villavie is on the slopes of Moeyan Hill, which is midway between Berry and Seven Mile Beach. The natural bucolic beauty of the place is enhanced because it backs onto the natural temperate rainforest of Moeyan Hill, host to a huge variety of native wildlife... birds, echidnas, wallabies, butterflies and more.
We called the property Villavie because it literally translates into "country house life'. We set out to design the guest apartment so that it would provide the kind of luxurious fit out for two people that we would want for ourselves - a place with the accoutrements of a hotel suite set in pristine countryside. This is a place where you can figuratively take a 'psychic shower' and wash off the stresses of a hectic city week. Though it is the lower storey of the house it has its own private driveway and entrance that give total privacy.
You can sit and chill out taking in the view through the citrus trees to the duck pond. You can take a walk over Moeyan Hill through the national park that adjoins our property. Or you can drive or bike down to Seven Mile Beach. And we are only five minutes from the town of Berry and the shops and restaurants.
We like our creature comforts and we figure you probably do to. So we installed underfloor heating to help keep you cosy on cold winter nights and equipped the suite with an extremely comfortable European queen size bed. It is naturally cool in summer. We have provided a TV, a CD player, an X-Box game console, as well as a barbecue, a microwave oven and a two gas burner stove. You may be interested too in the gilding work featured in the suite - which adds to the luxurious feel.
For breakfast, we supply you with freshly laid eggs from the farm down the road, our own home made granola and preserves plus fresh crusty bread from the local Sourdough Bakery.
Minimum booking is two nights, weekend or midweek.

Prices
Three night minimum stay public holiday weekends, and four night minimum over Easter. Weekend rate is for either Fri/Sat or Sat/Sun. One night stays during midweek is at a rate of $200.
Discounts
Mid week stay, 10% discount for 3 or more nights between February and November
