January 2011
We had a lovely stay at your cottage. Great location, the kids loved the garden. We also enjoyed visiting the Planes, trains & automobiles shop just around the corner. Thanks for a great stay.

August 2010
Once again a lovely stay, good food and good company. Beautifull sunshine for a good day's bushwalk and true to the mountains, showers the next. Your cottage proved to provide for both - glourious sun in the garden and cosy in the house when it was cold! We love the front verandah for watching passers by and for enjoying a nice cup of tea.

September 2010 (Japanese visitors)
We enjoyed rockclimbing near here and the cottage was very comfortable! Thank you for helping us to light a fire. My daughter was glad to meet the cute rabbit who visited the garden. We hope to come again!

October 2010
We've had a great long-weekend. The cottage was warm and cosy, just what we needed for this rainy weekend. The location is great, an easy walk to coffee and the pub for dinner. We recomend the Zig Zag railway for a rainy day. The kids loved the play room. We needn't have bought any of our own toys. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We hope you come and enjoy Larsen's Cottages and experience some of the recommendations made by our guests.

  • "We had an great time relaxing in the Blue Mountains and staying at this lovely character cottage. It has been beautifully restored, including a lovely garden, deep bath and open fireplace! The location was great- we enjoyed exploring the local village and traveling just a bit further to enjoy Jenolan Caves, Katoomba and Blackheath. HIghly recommended."

  • "We had such a good weekend at Larsen's Cottage. Angela was lovely to deal with & the cottage was gorgeous & quaint. While the weather had turned chilly outside it was cosy & warm inside with the fire & heaters and we really appreciated having the fire set ready to go. It was the perfect place to reconnect with the teens - enough technology to keep them happy (a selection of movies there)with a fire to sit around & roast marshmallows in to keep the little one & mum happy! We enjoyed a visit to Jenolan Caves so much we went back again on Sunday. A lovely, relaxing break, happy to recommend. "

  • "Thankyou for a lovely holiday. The cottage was beautifully presented and a joy to visit. The mountains were wonderful, all in all a perfect time. cheers."

  • "Larsens Cottage was lovely. The mountain weather was unfavourable the whole time we were there and to be honest, we didn't mind at all! We were all happy just to stay inside and enjoy the cottage as we were warm, comfortable and cosy. We even opted to take our dinner back to the house rather than eat out! The history and age of the cottage were worlds away from our own modern home and it was such fun to experience what life used to be like (with the mod cons of course!). The children loved the garden and playroom and when the rain cleared a little we walked up to the local antique shops. Mt Victoria is a nice easy drive to all that the Blue Mountains has to offer. We have nothing but happy memories of our time there."
