Deposit of 50% is required to confirm a booking.
Low season payment in full 14 days prior to arrival date.
High season payment in full 30 days prior to arrival date.

Cancellation policy: Fee of $30 applies to all cancelled bookings.
Low season:
21-60 days prior to arrival date 50% of deposit
Up to 21 days prior to arrival 100% of total price (please call to discuss your circumstances).
High season:
30 days prior to arrival date 100% of total price (please call to discuss your circumstances).

These fees will not apply if accommodation is rebooked by another party or you choose to rebook for another date within the following 3 month period.

  • "I hope it speaks for itself that we so enjoyed our weekend at "Sugar Bay Cottage" that we promptly returned the following weekend - a "first" for us ! We love getting away and have stayed in a range of accommodation but "Sugar Bay Cottage " tops the lot. There is nothing, the owner, Pam has not thought of (or will offer to get/do) and not only is everything spotlessly clean and tastefully presented but of high quality...beds, linen etc. We relaxed straight away with the superb natural setting lending itself for contented gazing at the lake at the bottom of the garden...the choice is yours to do as little or as much as you want. Highly recommended !"

  • "Sugar Bay Cottage is a gem! It is beautifully situated in a quiet area with stunning views over the lake. We have stayed in many self catering places in Australia and Sugar Bay Cottage is by far the best. It is exceptionally well equipped with very comfortable beds,a spacious bathroom with a huge shower, a well equipped kitchen and a lovely outdoor area. We so enjoyed our week's stay and enjoyed exploring the area. We loved the birdlife and beautiful sunsets too. Thank you Pam for making such a lovely 'home away from home' - we highly recommend this property."

  • "We had a brilliant stay at Sugar Bay Cottage. The location is great, with lovely views from the terrace over the lake. The accomodation is modern and clean and very well equiped. There was ample room for our family of 4. I would not hesiate to recommend this cottage to others and we will certainly stay again next time we are over"

  • "This was a great little property just an hour from home. Pam was very welcoming and made us feel at home. We couln't get enough of the views. Every morning started with breakfast on the deck overlooking the lake and each afternoon finished with me throwing a line in for a fish. The weather wasn't the best but that just meant we got to spend more time in snuggling on the couch with floor to ceiling windows looking out at what must be one of the best views around. The house is close to everything parks, shops, clubs so you have plenty to do. We will definitely be back and will recommend Pam and Sugar Bay Cottage to everyone."

  • "Sugar Bay Cottage is absolutely beautiful. We loved having BBQ's and drinking wine on the verandah while watching the birds and boats go by. The sunsets are amazing. The kookaburras even come up on the verandah to say hello. There is plenty to do here - fishing, kayaking, walking around the bay and just relaxing in the cottage while enjoying the wonderful views. Pam even left us a bottle of Sugar Bay Cottage wine to enjoy. We will be back for sure. "

  • "This place has the best of everything if u want a nice place to relax & take in the view. i was wonderful.. we didn't want to leave. u have the lake in ur backyard, you have the facilities, a big nice shower/bathroom & everything u need for a quiet & peaceful vacation. wake up to a beautiful sunrise & watch d sunset on the porch in UR BACKYARD!! We had a great time & Pam thank you so much for your hospitality & i was a pleasure to stay @ ur cottage. it was beautiful! we hope to see u soon again for our next trip. the whole family wants to go up after seeing the videos & photos :) "

  • "We had the most wonderful stay here. The weather was great, we overlooked the water and we slept extremely well in comfy beds. The kayaks were delivered and collected from our door. Our kids were happy kayaking on their own, playing in the shallows, fishing (for the first time ever) or playing backyard cricket on the reserve. Lots of chill time. Pam is really cool - there if you need anything but you have as much space as you want. Great all rounder for us."

  • "Sugar Cottage is absolutely fabulous. The view is spectacular and this is one property where all expectations are exceeded and the internet can't do justice to how wonderful it is. Pam is a delightful lady who enjoys people staying in her property which she takes great pride in. Everything is quality and the house is so clean and fresh. A bottle of wine, cold in the fridge on arrival, is a lovely touch. The barbeque on the deck is great, lovely walks around and so peaceful and quiet. Bring all your food or shop at Coles up the road and don't leave the cottage......no need to...it is heaven. The biggest disappointment for us is we are from Brisbane otherwise Sugar Cottage would become a regular getaway. This is such a find...we loved it. 2 days and 2 nights was not enough though. Our Canadian friends thought it was very special. Congratulations Pam and thank you for letting out such a beautiful property. We hope we can return soon."

  • "Thanks pam for being so hospitable, we enjoyed the peacefulness and doing absolutely nothing but relaxing by the lake, swimming, and chilling out on the verandah in the shade snoozing and admiring the beautiful view! The house is modern and cute, and the beds were hotel quality. We will definitely be back, see you soon. A place to go and not drive anywhere for the whole stay!!"
