This freshly renovated cottage offers idyllic accommodation for up to six people, or a romantic getaway for two. The spacious living area and large outdoor decks overlook the waters of Lake Macquarie. Inside, polished floors and a log fire promise relaxing days and cosy evenings. All bedrooms and living areas open onto the deck and have outstanding 180 degree views over the water.
The cottage is set amongst the casuarinas on its own absolute waterfront property. Landscaped gardens and a private grassy lawn to the water's edge offer privacy and tranquility.
There is excellent fishing, swimming and boating from the private jetty, and the restaurants and clubs of Lake Macquarie are close at hand.
Features
The air conditioned cottage has two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious living area with polished timber floors, large timber decks with a gas barbecue, and a private deep water jetty with mooring facilities. Free wireless internet is provided.
The main bedroom has a queen-sized bed, and the second bedroom can be made up for two single beds or one king-size bed. All beds have electric blankets.
The living room has a double sofabed which packs away neatly during the day.
Please note that Catalina Cottage is non-smoking.
In winter, the log fire will be laid ready for you to light, and firewood will be re-stocked for you during your stay.
The cottage has off-street parking for two vehicles, TV and DVD, laundry & ironing facilities, and a split-system air-conditioner for year-round comfort. Surf-skis are provided.

Take the F3 freeway from Sydney, and exit at Toronto. Fishing Point is located between the townships of Toronto and Wangi Wangi. Catalina Cottage is just two minutes from local shops and restaurants, and 10 minutes from the shops, clubs and restaurants of Toronto.
Lake Macquarie is a majestic waterway just over an hour's drive north of Sydney. The area offers excellent boating, fishing, swimming, water skiing, bushwalking & picnicking, and is just 40 minutes away from the Hunter Valley wineries, and 30 minutes from the renowned Watagans National Park.
