We had a wonderful stay. Nothing was missing & dealings with the owner were simple & trusting. The place was very clean, cozy & had everything you wanted, i.e. hair dryer, washing machine, electr, blanket heaters ... We would definitely recommend it!

Everything we needed. A comfortable house. Took a while to work out how to use the stove. Single beds very small, one had a picnic rug as a blanket.

It was OK
We really enjoyed our stay. A few small issues like leaking kettle and fridge not cold enough but this was being fixed after our stay. We were able to take our pet which was awesome!!! Very friendly, beautiful views, clean and tidy and lovely to have some basic food in the pantry and fridge upon arrival. Very close to Ballarat. Would happily visit again.

Really well presented property, including a stocked pantry, fresh milk & bread, & well equipped linen cupboard. The fact the owners are on hand and really helpful is just a bonus.

We loved this cottage. It only took 10 minutes on the deck staring over the valley to completely unwind. The owners provide breakfast and went through the extra trouble of providing organic bread and milk (and we said they didn't have to).
In the end, a bed is a bed is a bed. But in the guestbook we found many examples where the owners went the extra mile, e.g. especially buying a cot for a family coming with a baby, driving overseas visitors back into Ballarat, providing a Xmas tree + present at Xmas time, providing Easter eggs at Easter etc.
It's the little touches like this that make you comfortable and make you enjoy your stay even more.

Thankyou to our lovely hosts who after having a stressful drive, told us to chillax and enjoy ourselves. Which we did. Clean, comfortable and tasteful, the cottage made for a relaxing and memorable stay. And we were only there for one night! Would recommend to everyone!!(but we won't cause we might miss out)!!
